Happy hour 3-5 is the best bet to come here. Margaritas are great and tacos at happy hour are great prices. Atmosphere service great . I’m not sure I would come for regular hours tacos because it would be pricier. Anyhow for happy hour it’s 5 out of 5

The BEST Mexican food in Banff (and possibly the best restaurant in Banff and Canmore combined)! Definitely get their delicious and flavour-filled chicken taco!Añejo’s has a great happy hour with $3 tacos, so we tried every option and enjoyed them all. Our favourite taco was their chicken one, which had the perfect amount of heat and flavour.The drinks are great too. It’s definitely worth trying some of their crafty cocktails.Their staff were also good! Our server was welcoming and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back for our next visit to Banff!

Food options are very limited. Hardly any options for Vegetarians. The food is not good. There are no bean tacos and mushroom tacos taste pathetic. Portion size of Margarita was too less. Food and drinks both had no flavor. Ambience is good but food and drinks are on downside. We had to wait for 10 minutes for our server to arrive. Not sure how and why this place has high ratings.

A perfect balance of traditional and modern Mexican food. Very attentive and friendly service.We had the Guacamole, braised mushroom tacos, Chile relleno, veggie tacos, and roasted veggie salad. Everything was superb and seasoned to perfection. The creamy spicy mayo was a perfect complement to the food.The Anejo sangria was fresh, fruity, and refreshing.And the Tres Leches was the best we've ever had!

My boyfriend and I actually came to visit this place twice! We had amazing experiences every time, staff are friendly but our very first server, Tegan, was the best! Always made the best suggestions when asking about choices, very friendly and definitely one of the best servers in Banff!! The food here are actually huge in proportions, and always so flavorful. The guacamole is so fresh - they mix and make it in front of you at the table. I wish we were able the mix and match some of the premium tacos! We never really were able to go during happy hour but it's definitely worth the go to try many of their taco dishes! Mixed drinks were also amazing. You won't ever regret with going here! We will be back again when we visit Banff, hopefully Tegan can serve us then!

Amazing food and super cool ambience. The interior of this place is really unique. It has a wide range of drinks options and I’d say reasonably small food menu. But the food is really tasty and well made. Guacamole is mashed in front of you and the freshness makes a huge difference.We had vegetarian tacos from specialty tacos and it was delicious. Chicken Tinga tacos was good too. The staff is young, energetic and quick. They had shared restrooms with the other offices in the building, extremely clean & fancy though.Must try: their house made white mayo sauce. OUT OF THIS WORLD!Very good place. It’s little $$ but for its quality of food & ambiance, Highly recommend.

Great Mexican food, great service, and nice ambiance! This is a relatively newer restaurant in Banff and is spacious and nicely decorated. The menu itself is quite varied, offering tacos along with a bunch of other Mexican dishes! The prices are reasonable given that this is a fancier restaurant with a bar, high staff count and restaurant size. The staff are very friendly and address any concerns with care. The food is tasty, and the presentation is excellent. I’d recommend eating here during ‘halfy hour’ where the tacos and margaritas are half price, which makes them a great deal! At peak hours, the restaurant can get quite busy so I would suggest a reservation especially if you’re coming with a larger group. All in all, just a fantastic spot to eat at for lunch or dinner!

Amazing Mexican restaurant. Definitely very flavorful. Not a hardcore traditional Mexican restaurant, but very high quality one. Tacos are delicious.It's leaner version of Mexican food. Using their mayo sauce you just adjust it. Very smart. Also mayo is very good.Churro is soooooo good.
