First time trying Venezuelan food and I was not disappointed. Took the reina pepiada (avocado chicken) and pabellón (beef). The chicken one was ok but the beef one was amazing! It has a hint of sweetness with the plantain in it. Would definitely recommend to try that one. The guanabana juice is pretty good too.

The food was very good and it's fun to see the paintings in the restaurant!The restaurant is also big and we didn't have to have a reservation. (I don't know if it's always like that)There's everything for everyone at this restaurant!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! It’s 100% gluten free which makes me feel great, being Celiac.The food is delicious! I got the Arepas a La surena I believe (pulled pork with Avocado salad), and we shared a plate of mixed empanadas (chicken, beef, and cheese) for the table. All the items were full of flavour, the portion sizes were great and filling, and the atmosphere was lovely!My friend has a sunflower seed allergy and they were able to confirm that they don’t use sunflower seeds or oil in the dishes we got!Neither of us had a reaction either, it’s great having peace of mind.

This restaurant is colorful and fun! All the food we ordered was tasty and feels authentically Venezuelan. The portions are generous and even though the menu makes you want to order one of everything keep in mind that the food is very hearty and filling.*Everything on the menu is also gluten free!

Great Venezuelan fare with a great sense of allergies and helpful staff helping you identify the tastiest foods that respect dairy, gluten, and egg allergies. Their arepas are crunchy, fluffy, juicy amazing deliciousness! Wholeheartedly recommended for a delectable treat. Definitely a place worth repeated visits to explore their menu.

The entire restaurant is gluten free so there's no worries about cross contamination. Food comes out quickly and hot. Servers are friendly and welcoming.

Delicious food and fantastic service! This was my first time eating arepas and Arepera exceeded my expectations. To eat, we had the cheese empanadas, la llanera de pollo arepa, and dominó con plátano arepa and each item was exceptional - light, crispy and flavourful. Not to mention the house made sauces! Yum!What made our visit truly perfect was the staff. Our server, Pascual, was phenomenal! He was friendly, checked in often, and made us laugh. He also went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, such as clean up our baskets regularly, provide fresh napkins, and refill our waters consistently. Mali and Norah were also lovely, each stopping by to ensure we received our food quickly, we were satisfied, and also humoured us while we waited.Well done, Arepera. You have fantastic food and fantastic service! An unbeatable combination when choosing where to eat. We will certainly be coming back again soon.

Wanted to try Venezuelan cuisine and was not sure. This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Loved the vegetarian option and food was well prepared with the right seasoning and spice level. The avocado and hot sauce that was provide was something to taste and enjoy. Highly recommend the restaurant and the interior deco is very well done.

So happy this place survived the pandemic!Healthy food, great value. Difficult to find slow carb in Montréal, and you can sub out the rice here.Service might be a bit scattered, but it is genuine.

What a beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Arepera’s quality of food was amazing for its price. I loved that we were able to order our food from our phones and the server just comes and brings it to you. Their empanadas were different from what I’m used to, crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside. The areperas itself were tasty. Service was great and atmosphere was amazing. Loved my experience there!
