Paws For Thought Pet Grooming

The team at Paws for thought are amazing. I have a nervous dog who doesn’t always like new people and she is always happy when she leaves the groomer. I feel comfortable leaving her with them and they do a beautiful job on her coat. They are a small salon so it’s a good idea to book ahead. I always book a few weeks in advance because I need to have a weekend appointment. They are always friendly and the pricing is reasonable too which is a bonus! Thanks Paws for Thought team for taking such good care of our pup!

The best service ever. My dog went in all matted due to surgery. He came back looking like a doll. Highly recommend. Will always take my dog here. Thank you.

I haven't been there in quite awhile but my Gracie had a really good cut and was happy. She is an anxiety dog and the gal was able to do a full groom with no problems. I'm not exactly sure of the girls name who did the groom but she did an excellent job!!!

I scheduled an appointment for my puppy earlier this week. Quoted $40 which is really reasonable. I stepped in, found the place to be dirty, dogs crated and the atmosphere was tense. The ladies gave me attitude, and I saw a dog on her table shaking really, really badly. Left after small talk but took my pet elsewhere. I don't recommend.

Daisy had an amazing time at her first grooming session. They took the time to make us both feel at home and discuss options.The started on time and called ahead to update when they would be completed.When i arrived Daisy was all smiles and she looked beautiful!!!This was an amazing experience we will be back for sure.This was very professional and cost effective as well, you could easily pay $40 more at other places.Thanks again for a great styling!Bruce and Claire

I have a 13-year-old Westie who for the last year is going through a candida cleanse. His ears have a lot of waxy discharge and his skin is breaking out occasionally but Gayle is a champion groomer who has helped keep his coat short so I can apply medications and has always been pleasant and accommodating. She employs a lady called Jenny who lacks customer service and grooming skills. Apparently Jenny is also a vet and her opinion is highly valued by Gayle, enough to turn customers away. I have been going there for 4 years and have always tipped well even when the grooming from Jenny was not up to Gayle's high standards because I valued the caring service that Gayle provided. I am shocked and hurt to be turned away after all these years and Gayle is not responding to my texts. Jenny said there is a hole in my dog's paw, I am still looking for it and can't find it. If you have a dog with any health issues or use any alternative healing methods I do not recommend Paws for Thought.
