Cooool quiet....the way it's supposed to be

Security is lax. They don’t do anything. I was assaulted at this branch & security literally passed by the woman who assaulted me. Did not do anything but the bareMinimum. I wanted to call the police but they essentially told me that someone had already been called so I assumed the POLICE were coming, instead it was two community officers who couldn’t do anything but escort me to a waiting vehicle outside the building. I could have called the police but I was not informed that THE police weren’t the ones coming but simply community officers who couldn’t even take my statement. The library staff didn’t bother calling the authorities either, they simply took a description & my information. I was in shock & was not afforded the help I desperately needed in that moment. They are taking forever to review footage to be released to the Saskatoon police for something quite serious and urgent. This location either needs more security or more security CAMERAS. Even the basement level is better surveilled then the rest of the building especially the fine arts department. Disappointing. I am a frequent patron of this location & now I am terrified to even BE in the area, I live nearby, I am scared to leave my apartment at all for fear of getting mugged by the samePeople who assaulted me.

I've always been very pleased with the service I receive from this location. The staff has been friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I have been going there for a long time. I'm on my way back to get more movies and books today!

Great child activity space in addition to the trove of books, music, and media for adults. Staff are excellent!

I came to use the computers and everything was fine until I was finished my stuff and went to send it to myself before my session ended and was logged out before I could…how ridiculous that I’ll have to legit redo my entire assignment…this could be a better system

The Frances Morrison Library is one of the key hearts to Saskatoon. It is the biggest library in the city and in a wonderful location downtown for everyone to easily access it. I wouldn't change a thing about this library. Everything is well kept and organized. It's a classic and fun place to take the kids especially the young ones when it's story time at Poo's Corner located in a tree on the upper floor. They have an amazing selection of childrens books. They have a great young adult section, they have tons of space for student to go study with free wifi. They have so many programs available for all ages and it's all free! This library is my absolute favourite here in Saskatoon!

I love how big & how diverse each floor is! There’s always something new to see, a program going on, and is well worth multiple visits, before even touching a book. Such a large selection of materials & all easy to find. The staff there is always very helpful & willing to go out of their way. Great place for all ages!

The customer service is good. They are very patient and ready to explain everything when you are new to here. There are good varieties of books. This place offer printing and there are computers with internet available to you. Nice service giving to the people in need.

When I walked in witnessed the security harassing a guy sitting in the entrance. I don't get that. Whether sitting inside or at the entrance shouldn't be that big of a deal. Just let people be.
