A good standard chungchun location. The manager was quite nice and the staff seemed excited. The store was clean and well stocked - nothing was sold out. I got the chicken dog with potatoes and the garlic toppings. The 2.99$ deal online was not offered and the staff was a bit slow BUT this is their first day and they seem excited to get things off the ground. Looking forward to seeing the chain grow.

I've been three times so far and enjoyed it greatly. Fairly limited menu, but the dogs are customizable which makes it worth your while.It's nice to have something other than the run of the mill fast food chains in Kingston. Service has been stellar and restaurant has been clean every time I've went too. Hope they can add some sides and other Korean food items in the future.

Wow, I’ve been reading reviews on this place and thought it would be a good place to try since I work about 30 feet from the place. First and last. Upon walking in there was 1 couple ahead of me. The guy behind the counter was just finishing their order. Next he takes my order which was just a basic, original hot dog. Then another couple walk in and he stands there waiting to take their order. I’m thinking there must be someone in the kitchen cooking because once all the orders are taken, he keeps standing there. Nope, another guy comes in and you can tell it’s the start of his shift. So the guy that took all the orders now goes back to begin making them. 25 minutes later he comes out with all the orders together, to start topping them. One person said it will be worth the wait. So I get back to work, now late, and bite in. Mmm, raw dough and raw hot dog! Absolutely nasty! Now I’m late for work, hungry, but feel ill from raw hot dog and raw dough. To give 1 star is just because I saw them wash their hands. Other than that, don’t recommend!

This was my first time trying Chungchun and I really enjoyed it! The food was pretty authentic in terms of options and toppings and I appreciated that they stuck to keeping the food as similar to how its served in Korea, instead of elevating" it like many international restaurants do. I also really liked the dining room - everything was nice and clean and I could easily see myself spending an evening with friends there. I would love to try the fried chicken some time!"

Went in expecting to enjoy one of their great rice dogs but was intrigued by the chicken option. I can safety say I have found a new favorite chicken option in Kingston. Absolutely fantastic and fun new take on a classic meal. Staff were very friendly and store looked great, will definingly be returning!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The variety of combinations here are plentiful. There is something for everyone. If you are in Kingston definitely add this to your list of stops!

I've been many times because I love the food, atmosphere, and the staff are really nice and kind - they are always smiling, even when it's very busy. Compared to Chungchun locations in Toronto, the service is much faster here and the restaurant is larger with comfortable seating and washrooms. I'm so glad there's now a location in Kingston! The pineapple ade is really good too. They now offer Spearhead beer at a crazy cheap price, as well. The manager is super nice with a great smile and it's easy to see he cares a lot about his customers, and staff. Even at the grand opening when the line was out the door and down the street, service was as fast as could be hoped and everyone was still smiling and kind. I love that there are multiple vegetarian options for me! I also love the vibes and atmosphere. The music is happy and not too loud. Washrooms are clean. And the food is made fresh (not frozen then cooked).I am absolutely shocked at the bad reviews. I've been at least 10 times (I know, I can't help myself) and I haven't once seen anything but great service and great food. They specialize in Korean rice hotdogs - that's why it's great. I've heard that they will be adding additional menu options in the near future, which will be nice. It's not often I find a place that feels this chill and welcoming.Great for a snack, a date, hang out, grabbing a drink. Highly recommended!Edit: Tried the Spearhead beer (local brewery). I'm not a beer person at all and I actually really liked it! The price is also unbeatable here.
