Walked in with a group of 4 for lunch as the menu was enticing. We were greeted by an unpleasant hostess. After we requested a seat closer to the open window, the hostess rolled her eyes and “huffed” at our request. We left as it ruined our festive lunch experience.

We came to Graz when they were featuring the Back40 smokehouse food! It was incredible! Definitely a welcomed change to deep fried pub food that everyone is so used to. The meat was so tender and perfectly smoked. All the flavours are to die for! Such a great move featuring them! If you have never had smoked meat, they will certainly spoil you from having it anywhere else! LOVE LOVE!

I read excellent reviews about this place and today I decided to check it out! Great ambiance and very friendly service and courteous staff!The facility is adorned with a lot of memorabilia and has two large windows that allows for natural light to come in.The menu is simple however the food choices are excellent and very tasty and yummy! It will please your palate! Prices are very generous and affordable, I am definitely coming back for more!!!

Party of 3 went on July 1st. It wasn't too busy when we went as we ate around 5 pm. We got seated right away. The server was pleasant, quick and checked on us often. I got the fish sandwich, another got the prime rib special which was $34, and the other one got the bison burger. Everyone liked their food and we were all full. It was a casual ambience, loud atmosphere, but appropriate and not the obnoxious kind.

This is such a great place. View of the locks. Patio like with the big open doors, closest to a patio there is right at the locks. Service is nice, owner is always around keeping an eye on things, and the food is great. Burgers are amazing, highly recommend. Enjoy.

We really liked our food. Service was also great. Would be nice if they cleaned the tables a little better. Everything felt sticky. We overheard another table voicing the same complaint amongst themselves.

Disappointed with the service. Ordered a kid’s burger and was told it was small. Not the it was small, dry and no toppings. When I asked to talk to the server, I was met with annoyance and “yeah but I told you”. They brought back a regular burger but the meat was still dry and overcooked. Still charged me full price. Ordered the Caesar salad which had wilted leaves and the putting where the gravy looked like it came from a can.

Such an amazing evening we had at Graz. Starting with the service right down to the food. Our sever was on her game and kept us topped up. Once the food was ready it was brought out from 4 different staff all at one time. Top notch service and presentation. We were all pleasantly surprised as we have attended several times over the years, but with a new menu it seems they have stepped up their game. The food was very delicious and served fresh and hot. Had all of the beverages we were wanting.We will definitely return. A great location as well! Thank you :)

Visited the restaurant with friends and we all had a wonderful experience. Our food was delicious, the atmosphere is great and the staff is awesome. I will definitely go back when I have a chance.
