Pricey entrees with no extras such as rice or salad to offset the main dish. Cynthia was truly a great waitress.Would recommend itespecially if you are looking for gluten-free.

The food quality has degraded drastically. It was my favourite restaurant a year ago but not anymore. Naans are so rubbery that I had to throw them out all the time I ordered in last few months, also NO taste in Sabjis and Dal. Never gonna waste my money here or recommend anyone.

Food is quite good. Daal soup was particularly awesome . From starters malai chikken was very tasty and soft however tandooi chicken was ok. Roti basket is good option if you want to try different rotis. We ordered goat masala. Meat was soft and well cooked however I did not like gravy that much as I had better gravy than this before. Quantity is good enough. Ambience was nice and our server was kind. Parking is available. And its very close to the marina from where lift lock cruise go. If you are looking for indian restaurant in peterborough this place can be your first choice.

Great indian restaurant in Peterborough. The food, service, and ambience were awesome. However, in goat curry, the pieces were hard and difficult to chew.

Our second visit to The Imperial Tandoor was truly an amazing experience in every aspect. The staff provided exceptional service, and the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. Additionally, the availability of ample parking made it very convenient for us.When it comes to the menu, the tandoori platter and Chat ki Tokri stood out as exceptional dishes. The tandoori items, in general, proved to be the perfect choice for those seeking traditional, authentic Indian flavors. The food not only showcased excellent quality but also maintained a high standard throughout our dining experience.The only aspect worth mentioning as a potential drawback is that the prices at The Imperial Tandoor are on the higher end. However, considering the exceptional service, delightful ambiance, and the overall quality of the food, the experience was definitely worth the cost.

Good place to dine in for some good Indian cuisine in a small town like Peterborough. Food was yummy. Butter chicken and mutton was awesome. Service staff was also good.

Good Indian food, chicken 65 was one of the best we have had in Canada so far. The service is a little slow, but overall a good experience.

It's absolutely terrible. The food was burnt, and the Nan bread was raw. Above all else, it was so salty. In fact, you could see the individual salt crystals atop the food. It was like eating a salt seller. Never going back and so expensive!!! Threw most of it in the garbage. That's what you need after a 7-hour drive - horrible food!
