Allstate Insurance: Sudbury Agency (Phone Only)

Absolutely horrible customer service takes forever to get ahold of anyone when you do they are rude and provide no solutions my payment was upped without my knowledge and no one can tell me why will be canceling my policy asapUpdate been three weeks multiple phone calls and texts to multiple people, promises that they will fix and call with a resolution to the problem and STILL nothing.so ontop of all of that my payment gets upped AGAIN by another 40 dollars i call because my payment was a week late coming out of my account no one notified me of payment change. i cancelled my account and they are now telling me the last payment will be refunded and sent via mail however if i put i stop payment on the payment they will charge me an nsf for a payment that they will be refunding me anyway. STAY FAR AWAY from this ridiculous scam of a company

Former customer of 10+ years. Same phone number and email address all through out. Credit card on file expired, instead of calling or emailing me, the immediate response was registered letter of cancellation. They claim my phone number didn't work and my email address on file was incorrect. Despite this I had recent emails and phone calls. Realized the issue when they called me to update my payment info, after I had already been cancelled. Update wouldn't process and a nearly year long dispute ensued. Their resolution was to offer me a new policy with double rates for non payment. Not even a competitive rate. Don't trust them to do anything beyond their minimum legal obligations, doesn't appear to include service. Will be using a broker in the future.

Always enjoy their services, never a complaint, though, prices now that I change my cars for newer ones, with more safety features than the previous ones increased badly, didn't have an explanation, I may change services, in this economic quasi-recescion post pandemic, every dollar counts. I am sad. Yes, service is great, thank you for your answer.

I asked to add a vehicle 2 days ahead of time so I could make sure I would have insurance the day of delivery. Was supposed to get a call back the next day... never did. Called multiple times today and left messages... no call back. Their website shows they are open Saturday 10am to 4pm. Their voicemail states that they're in the office today. I called the 1-800 number and they can only activate the insurance policy for the next day, which is too late now. I now have to change plans and arrange a different pickup date with the dealer. I also asked for french services, but the insurance advisor did not speak french. If it wasn't for cancellation penalties/fees, I would cancel all my policies with them and go elsewhere.

Had Ty Houlahan as my agent guiding me through the process of getting both Tenant and Auto Insurance. Ty was absolutely incredible at his job and answered all my questions thoroughly and concisely. He was friendly in his interactions and extremely informative on all matters relating to insurance. He returned calls promptly and was quick at responding to emails. Highly recommend Ty as your agent when choosing Allstate!

If you are looking to make a change to a new insurance company... keep looking and do not buy insurance from AllState. You will save yourself money, time and unbelievable frustrations. Not sure why I waited a year to make a change... not worth even trying to deal with. No interest in resolving any issues. Customer Support feels more like Customer Pressure. Stay away!So, to make matters worse, they called me and tried to blame me for THEIR issues! Don't waste your time or energy (not to mention the stress) and find another company!

Called Alstate to put in a claim, was on hold for over 30 minutes. Your call is very important to us

This place ripped me off. Knowing full well the company I work for and never once was I offered the discount I get through the company. I called and tried to have it sorted out, only to never hear back from them. I absolutely despise Allstate. Their lack of organization, the horrendous customer service and their lack of ability to do their job. I will 100% be switching my insurance. Knowing that I was entitled to a discount and not once bringing it up goes to show you what you’ll be dealing with if you get insurance with Allstate. Shop around and save yourself the headache.

Tried calling there for three days no answer.. not even sure if the office is open. Or if anyone works there .I finally got in contact with an agent in Sault Ste Marie. And was able to make changes to my policy. Not sure what's going on with the Sudbury office, but if they can't be available for their customers when they need them, people are going to go elsewhere for their insurance needs ..
