The Little School Day Care Centre

My toddler LOVES going here- she points and pulls me out the door in the morning to get to school. The infant room staff are amazing! They are always doing something new and exciting for the Littles to learn and thrive. I have always been an anxious person, but I feel confident and reassured that my daughter is in good hands at TLS. I Recommend this center to anyone who is looking for somewhere to send their tiny human.

The Little School is a wonderful daycare! I feel confident knowing that my child is working with very experienced staff, eating healthy food, spending time outside, engaging with peers and having new learning experiences every day. We are truly very happy :) Thank you for being part of our child's life and learning!

This preschool/daycare is almost worth moving to Orleans for your children to attend. Best in Ottawa. What a hidden gem. My son (in Jr. Kindergarden) attended the Glebe Montesorri and another private academy before we moved east. Not only does he seem to be thriving even more at the Little School, he also greatly enjoys the education. What a treat that the staff show the little ones that learning can be mixed with true fun.The classroom is rich with different sensory, language, logic/structure, tactile activities (a couple photos of activities below). Live plants and cute guinea pigs are ever present while the decor changes to different learning themes. I would highly recommend TLS to absolutely anyone. My daughter attended the little school for the last year, from the age of 18 months to 2.5 years. I mean it when I say it's heartbreaking to leave; she comes home every day so happy and so fulfilled. The programming at TLS is incredible; she has learned so much, and all of the educators are so caring, kind and special. So sad to move away and not get to experience care at TLS anymore.

The Little School Daycare has provided an exceptional nurturing environment for my toddler. I saw marked improvements in my son’s communication and social interaction skills within a few first months. He is always excited to go to his class and it only took him a short 2 weeks to adjust. The team of educators in the toddler room is top notch - passionate, caring and engaged. I appreciate all the communications we get though the HiMama app. I get daily photo collages, notes, frequent messages and educator updates. Any special requests from me were quickly addressed. The daycare puts out a lot of events that add a meaningful touch to the experience (e.g., Santa’s visit, Remembrance Day visit to a local legion). The rooms seem to have endless educational toys and activities for children to engage in. There is even a lovely rabbit. The food menu is varied and nutritious, with lots of solid choices. I would highly recommend this daycare to other parents. The quality of service, communication and care is commendable and everyone is always pleasant to deal with. I have had experience with another licensed daycare where educators were not present and it felt they were going through the motions, merely providing babysitting service. The Little Daycare school is truly an education experience for the child.

We love our new daycare. My daughter is learning so much and she truly enjoys herself. I also love the use of the HiMama app. It makes my day brighter to see all the cute photos of my child posted throughout the day, enjoying her time at The Little School. We also really appreciate our educators, who are so considerate and caring. The menu is also great and the facilities are wonderful!

I can honestly leave my grandson their and not worry cause I know they are by far the best daycare in ottawa he has been their for 4 years they are amazing
