This seasonal oasis in the mountains is only accessible for a short amount of the year, due to the changing level of the lake water via snow melt run off.While it is accessible, it's a gem of a Lil tub that comfortably seats 4-6 people. There is a liner on the bottom and an amount of soft sand surrounded by a mountain rock tub in the lake.

Yes the hot springs are fun but I also found simply wandering around the area to be awesome. Away from overpriced restaurants and cafes, the flora and the lake are so beautiful especially at sunset!

Very nice short walk from the resort to the source of the hot springs. Good in any weather You can also continue on to one of the two trails. The short one - Miami Bridges and the long one - Sandy Cove.

The water is HOT!!! But if you go a bit further, it gets warmer. I almost scalded my foot when I dipped it to try the water, so be very careful.

The water source for the hotels springs and town swimming pool.If the lake is low enough there are some natural pools here you can sit in. It is quite beautiful at night.

Was pretty impressive to actually see the source of the hot springs, you could feel the heat and see the steam from the water inside the walls and chain link. Would be fun to visit during the winter months.

Definitely worth the short 5-minute walk past the Harrison Hot Springs Resort to see the source of the hot springs and imagine what it was like when it was first discovered and developed. The views back towards the Resort are magnificent as is the flora along the trail.
