We had Pear Tree Photography take care of our photos for a Corporate Event this month. We had used them for past events and were incredibly happy they were available to join us again. David was incredibly responsive to any items we specified in advance, including checking in with us during the event to ensure he was capturing all of the moments for us. He was very professional and on time, and somehow was in five different spots at the same time! Our photos were absolutely amazing and came out better than we could have ever imagined. We will be booking soon for 2024, just to ensure that we can continue to have David & Pear Tree Photography take care of our photos in future. Highly recommend!

During the wedding planning process I remember telling my (then) fiancé that photography was VERY important to me and I wanted to be very particular about who we hired for the wedding. Coming from the acting industry, I knew how important it was to hire people who are not just talented but media artists who are passionate about the project.My (now) husband and I were completely blown away by the flexibility, professionalism, generosity and talent of Pear Tree Photography. From the start it has been evident that David & Irene truly care about the couple they are shooting and were willing to go above and beyond to make our vision come true. In the initial stages of planning, we had our venue fall through but David & Irene were so patient with us as we sorted out a new location. Additionally, they had no problem helping us with our wedding timeline, using their experience to give us feedback which would help the day go smoothly and without needing to pay more than necessary. During our meetings, David showed his genuine care for us by taking personal interest in learning about who we were and what we did outside of the wedding. By the time the wedding came around, I felt like I was shooting with a friend rather than someone I had hired.On the wedding day, David came an hour early to scope out the venue and assess the best locations for photos; meanwhile the other half of his team had to be extremely flexible as we did not have a confirmed location for our groom & groomsmen get ready until 12p that day - this was no problem for them. Throughout the day, David’s top priority was making sure the bride was comfortable while capturing the best photos.Of course, the meat of the review is the photos we received! David was so passionate and thrilled about our wedding that he returned over 100 sneak peek photos the following day with more to be expected in the coming weeks. The photos are simply incredible capturing joy, love, intimacy, style and fun. It has been a pleasure and a gift to receive their care, attention and service.

There are not enough words for us to say how happy we were with the level of service we received from the team at Pear Tree Photography. When we first met with David, he took the time to get to know who we were as a couple and our story to ensure that the service was personalized to our liking. We had also booked an engagement session which was a “photo posing class” as practice for our wedding day. There, we were taught how to pose, hold each other, and even kiss in the best ways for our photos! My husband and I are extremely awkward people (on camera and off camera) and our anxieties were put to ease right away. We were able to get clear directions from David and he was always patient with us to walk us through the different poses during our engagement shoot.On the wedding day, we were greeted by David, Sasha, Katie, and Christie. We had only met Sasha, Katie, and Christie on our wedding day, but all four of them made us feel like we have all known each other for a long time! They were all so excited and happy for us in our little (and big) moments during our special day. Many of our friends and family raved about how professional and great they were throughout the night. We already had a couple of people in our wedding ask for their contact info for their events! When we got our final products back, we really felt that we were transported back to our wedding day. Being able to experience our wedding day again after looking at all of our photos and video made us feel so emotional.Thank you again to Pear Tree Photography and the amazing team for making us feel special on our wedding day and helping us capture one of the biggest moments in our lives :)

David was a great photographer who was both professional and friendly. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and even shared some useful tips about Gastown. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a talented and skilled photographer.

Working with Pear Tree Photography was one of the best photoshoot experiences I have had to date! It’s always hard organising things from a foreign country but in the lead up, Irene was so patient and informative and the entire booking process was so seamless. When it came to our engagement shoot day, David was professional, punctual and maintained high communication. It was so much fun I really wish I could do it over and over again! Lastly, what I was blown away by was the efficiency of delivering our photos (almost 600 edits in 2 days - bizarre right!!) and this was all due to David’s hard work and dedication. Bless!! To say we were blown away and amazed with Pear Tree Photography's service is an understatement. We had David, Sasha, Nicky, and Christie as part of our wedding in July 2022 and all of them were an absolute pleasure to work with. David was extremely patient and informative with all our questions throughout the process, flexible and accommodating to our requests, provided amazing wedding planning/timeline advice, and made us feel very comfortable. David was always very open to our ideas, and shared anticipated outcomes for what we wanted. He was very personable and made an effort to get to know us and our love story as a couple -he did this genuinely and with real interest which is rare. The engagement shoot was super fun and he provided lots of direction and guidance on how to stand/pose while still capturing our candid moments beautifully and to our vision. On the wedding day, the four of them were quick at scouting locations, efficient with capturing every aspect of the wedding, and it was clear they were very professional and knew exactly what needed to happen. We had a helicopter tour with only one extra seat, and Nicky was able to do both video and photo footage together which was really valuable. Most of all, we received a lot of positive feedback about Pear Tree team from both our parents, our entire wedding party, and many of our guests pointed out they were super friendly and fun to be around. The sneak peeks they shared with us were absolutely stunning and we have no doubt the rest of the products will exceed our expectations too. We feel David and the Pear Tree team went above and beyond to make us feel special and we are so grateful to have them as part of our day. David was a wonderful and accommodating photographer. He was friendly, patient, and flexible with our preferences, offering us choices and sharing fascinating insights about the history of Gastown. We highly recommend him for his exceptional photography skills. His shots and posing suggestions were fantastic, and working with him was a true pleasure due to his kind and amiable nature.

Working with Peartree Photography has been a great experience from start to finish. The booking process was very straightforward with no unnecessary steps. David our photographer showed up early to set up and survey the space. I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with him. He efficiently directed all our guests to get the best shots. We were so impressed with the moments he captured and the beauty of the photos. At the end, he gave us hundreds of photos each beautifully edited.

Pear Tree Photography was incredible to work with. They were not only communicative, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable, but they also just simply took the most beautiful photos of our wedding - from getting ready through to the dance floor, they captured so many amazing moments and then edited them to perfection. We also worked with Pear Tree for our engagement photos two years prior. They were with us the whole way, even graciously allowing for two date changes to accommodate pandemic postponements. Awesome company, great people! We would work with them again and recommend them to anyone.

We were so pleased with our family photos. We had a huge group, and David handled the photo shoot so professionally. It was amazing. We got all of the pictures we wanted--different combinations of our family. The photos turned out better than we could have hoped for. I would recommend Pear Tree Photography to anyone.
