Oh my, what a gem! I was super lucky to show up on a quiet weekday evening, I was seated immediately and greeted by a really friendly guy. We picked a drink and made the order, that was brought to the table almost immediately. I am not a chicken person but this is a whole different level. The broth is so flavorful, yet so delicate and light. The pork was perfection, as well as the egg! The noodles had the perfect consistency and texture. All in all, a great dish, paired with a great store-branded pale ale on draft. Really really recommended!

I would recommend this place for ramen in Vancouver!After seeing this viral on TikTok, had to try it for ourselves, and we were pleasantly surprised as it surpassed expectation.We typically get Shoyu Ramens as we prefer the soy sauce taste. This one was incredibly flavourful and seasoned, toppings were fresh and crunchy, the pork was tender… and the highlight was the NOODLES. Handmade, thin noodles had a great texture and held up well.This is the best ramen I’ve had in a long while.Note, sounds like they have an unwritten rule that each sitting customer must order a dish. However, they kindly made an exception for us as they weren’t (surprisingly) busy at the time, where we were able to split the one dish!

Best ramen I've ever had!!! Had chashu tamago ramen. It was such a rich, flavorful, salty broth with very soft meaty pork slices. The rice chashu was amazing too. The value is great and we couldn't finish one bowl of ramen between two of us. Not too too busy on a Tuesday evening. 10/10 would come back. PS you need to scan the QR code to access the menu although you could probably just ask for the physical menu.

I was genuinely impressed by the experience I had at Maruhachi. The service was attentive and kind. I ordered the cha-shu tamago ramen and found that the broth was unlike any I've had before, rich with creaminess and mild sweetness. The egg and pork was tender and fresh, rounding off the polished meal. I came here expecting good ramen and got something even better. I'll definitely be back for more.

My ramen knowledge is still developing but I can attest that the broth was silky smooth with rich flavor, the chilli pepper paste was fresh and aromatic and the noodles did not absorb much of the flavor, as another reviewer indicates. The pork was also fresh, even though very thinly cut, bur surely very tasty. The egg was the best I ever had in taste, texture and color, more like an ember color in the yolk. I would visit again.

Tried this ramen for the first time because my bf always bragged about it, and he was absolutely right about how good it is! We came back the second time before flying back home. Very fast & great service, and the ramen tastes absolutely delicious! Will definitely come here again next time!

This place is tied for my favorite ramen in all of Vancouver. Their ingredients are always simple and fresh with consistently good results (and no MSG, even more impressive). Service is always efficient since they’re used to long line-ups. Their ramen egg is a must-try—so delicious and a cut above the usual ramen egg.I recommend the Chashu-Tamago ramen/classic Tamago ramen, and definitely add an egg to your order if there isn’t one!

The vegetarian ramen was incredible. It’s the exact type of comfort food you’d want to eat on a rainy day. I usually cannot finish a full bowl of ramen by myself, but maybe it was the thin noodles or the light broth, I happily finished my entire bowl without feeling stuffed. Although there was a lineup even during midday on a Monday, the service was fast & servers were friendly.
