I have been coming to May's Salon for over 12 years when I was a teenager and May has seen me grow up. I have been a loyal customer because she has been consistent with making me happy. Whether its May, or the other two wonderful hair dressers Qu and Joanne, all are excellent. They have all done my hair. My entire family including my sisters, best friends, cousins we all come to May Hui.I have gotten my hair cuts, styling, wash and blow dry, Japanese straightening, highlights, extensions, up do and much more done from this place. Whether it is a casual or a big event, with reasonable pricing May Hui is the best salon to go to. I am not related to her in anyway, but I am genuinely giving this review because she has never failed to satisfy me. They book appointments, try to accommodate last minute walk ins, offer coffee and never forget to smile.If you are looking for a consistent and a permanent hair salon, this is the place to go :) All the bestThank you May Hui and the employees for always making it an amazing experience. =) <3

They are in the business for a reason, the end results always tend to be better than what I envision - from colouring to hair cuts. I have the confidence in experimenting with my hair because of them.

I first found out about this place 2 years ago and I’m glad I did. Not only the stylists are on point, they also keep the place clean. Joanna and her team go above and beyond and my hair always looks fabulous! I never go to anybody else to style or dye my hair. Joanna always gives me proper treatment and she never disappoints. I walk out of there with a smile and hair looking fresh. If you have a long hair and you want highlights, low lights or full color make sure you call/book earlier in advance. She’s got lots of clients. If you also want a retouch for your hair you can always come back and she will gladly accommodate you. She’s the best in town! Hands down. Client since opening in the 80s. From super long hair, highlights to short angled bobs fashion colours Mays team always deliver. May and Qu are wonderful Joanna’s my stylist now and does a great job. I had horrible experience here. It was my birthday and I wanted to look good of course but she did a disastrous job on my hair. I told her to give me layers as I have frizzy dry hair so that I can style them on the daily basis by just using curl cream and scrunch them. It gives my natural curls a stylish look. But instead of giving me layers , she reduced the density of my hair and now my hair is looking funny and depressing. She spoilt my day. I would not recommend her to anyone

I probably won't go back, as curly hair isn't treated with as care as I prefer. I'm thankful they took me in without an appointment, but everything felt rushed. Also, I have never had my hair straightened prior to the haircut being complete - very interesting method. The hair style came out great in the end, but we shall see what it's like when I wear it naturally. Thanks Joanne for serving me today.

Extremely unprofessional. I went in to dye my roots yesterday and was told it was for 45$. After getting the service done, the lady dried my hair using a blow dryer. When I went to pay, I was told it was going to be 75$. I was shocked. When I asked why, she said she is charging me for the blow dry. I told her I didn’t ask for one and it wasn’t even a proper blow dry but she wouldn’t listen and said next time just tell the lady you don’t one. I am extremely upset at this behaviour. She purposely quotes low prices and then adds extra services all by herself to boost up the price. Won’t be visiting again.

Been here 3 times and their work is always so well done. very accommodating, gentle and kind. always recommend going to them when people who compliment my hair! Love coming here!

Joanna is amazing! Everyone is super nice and they do an amazing job. I love getting my hair done here. My whole family comes here now too. She even does children's hair!!! Shes very fast if you are looking to get your little ones hair done.

My hair wasn't in the best shape before I came. Gotta say Andy got real skills. The man turned my hair from an overgrown jungle into one of the best cuts I've seen.
