I was genuinely hoping that I would be writing the opposite type of review.Our family dog unfortunately had to recently be put down. My wife made the appointment a few days prior and she was given options and agreed to the one that was she felt was suitable.On the day of the appointment I said good bye to my best friend and pal of nearly 12 years. This is the toughest day a person will go through as a pet owner and I went into the clinic with the trust that they would make this as easy as possible. I was given some paperwork and told two I had two options and asked to sign.After I said good bye to Dexter and sat with him until he passed, I was pretty sad but decided to make sure everything was settled before I left. When I paid the invoice I realized that it was substantially more than what we agreed upon the phone while making the appointment. At the time I had zero interest in being there any longer than I had to. When they called to let us know the ashes were ready to picked up my wife inquired about the extra amount on the invoice. She was told that we would be refunded when I picked up the ashes. We were not. When we called two days later we told to stop by and we would be refunded. I stopped by expecting to this again to be very simple but instead I was brought into a room and explained why I wouldn’t be refunded as if that couldn’t have been done over the phone if that were going to be the result. I explained how I trusted the person giving me the paperwork to explain everything thoroughly and giving me all of my options and I was told that would be taken under consideration and a manager would be consulted. We were called the next day and told that again we would not be refunded.Let me be clear, this review isn’t about the level of care Dexter was given. He was treated with compassion and every step of the procedure was explained with great detail (kudos to Dr Julie). This is also why I was hoping that this review would go the other way. It’s unfortunate that all of the pre-procedure options were not explained with such great detail. Unfortunately, this review is now about the feeling that we were taken advantage of in a time of grief. I shouldn’t have to ask for a written quote and feeling like making a life decision for my best friend is a business transaction. But that was the ultimate suggestion given. I should be able to trust that level of care shown to my dog would match the level of business ethics.And that’s my unfortunate experience.

Not to play favourites or anything because I am apart of this team! But everyone here is reliable, kind, compassionate, and I would recommend anyone to come see us! Not to mention, most of you have become some of my best friends!

Ruby’s Tail AmputationRuby had to have her tail amputated because of a reoccurring issue. She had the most beautiful tail and Creston veterinary clinic did their very best to try to save the tail with ongoing treatments.The best option for Ruby:The kind support that we received all the way from the appointment to assess whether the tail be removed, to picking Ruby up after the surgery was phenomenal. It’s been only a day and she almost back to her happy fur girl self.Thank you Creston Veterinarian Clinic!!Great job done by everyone on staff!

My pup got a ear infection while we were in the area for a vacation and this was the closest vet to us. They were able to get him in to be seen quickly despite seeming fairly busy!Everyone we interacted with at the office was so kind and friendly, I felt very comfortable. They also followed up with me two times to check on our dog which I was surprised with in the best way possible!A few other comments would be a very clean office and the vet herself was knowledgeable and friendly!

Love Dr. Rob and all the amazing staff at Creston Veterinary Hospital. I have been a client for the past 12 years. Have always trusted the expertise of all the staff with all my fur babies past and present. I wouldn’t dream of taking them anywhere else because I know they will and have ALWAYS been there for me, my “kids”. Even Spencer (my beaglier) gets excited when he gets to go in and see everyone.They are fair, available 24/7, and some of the friendliest, kindest, compassionate, professional people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.Good job team! New to Creston, and had to have a procedure for my cat, the staff were very friendly and they arranged to have it done same day. No problems after procedure was done and I appreciated the follow up done by the staff.Took very good care of my 13 yo buddy, Thank you.I had to take Milo, my long time companion cat to Creston Vet Hospital today for euthanasia, the staff and particularly Julie were so very compassionate and supportive of our decision to end Milo's suffering.Thank you to all the staff and Julie for making this decision as understanding and supported as was possible.I hope all of you understand the valuable service you supplied to me, Diane, and Milo today

The Creston Veterinary Clinic has been offering superb care for our family of animals for many years now. They have examined, treated, operated on and the team there has consistently offered caring, knowledgable and progressive information and treatments for our wide variety of critters.The staff there are always in such wonderful spirits, take the time to hear our concerns and always follow up with us afterwards, no matter what their day was like. We never feel like anything is missed, they are always happy to have conversations about any concerns or plans for care and they are so wonderful with all of our companion animals.We feel so lucky to have them caring for our pets and honestly couldn't speak of them more highly. Thank you all for what you do!

Thank you Creston Veterinary Hospital and staff for all you have done for my furry (and not so furry) family. You have helped us excitedly welcome new family members and compassionately say goodbye when it became time. There has always been an endless amount of support from the doctors and staff which helped me feel like I was always making the best choice for my pets. I will take my pets here for life! You just can't find this quality of care and family values anywhere else.

Creston veterinary hospital heard my concerns for my little guy and had him in the very same day, they were able to address his issues and identify the problem without any unnecessary medications, and while he still has episodes they have lessened greatly, and my boy is much happier! They've also called us regularly to make sure that things are great and I appreciate the concern as it shows that they care about their clients!! Creston Veterinary Hospital was kind, caring and affordable! They looked after my boy Mr. Beef and they will be our vet from now on! They also have one of the most welcoming reception staff I have ever encountered! Five stars just doesn't do them Justice! 10/10!! Best Veterinary Hospital I've ever dealt with!! Your fur baby will absolutely love them!!! Thank you Creston Veterinary Clinic!!!
