Apache Burgers
Don’t get their fries. They were extremely dry, over fried and every bite had oil spewing out of it. Smell was rancid as well.Burgers (beef and chicken) as well as chicken strips were really good.If you decide to come here, don’t get the fries under any circumstances.

The staff was a little hard to get the attention of. I was glad once I did. I found the front of house staff friendly . The burger , deliciously smothered with fried onions was slow to get to the table, but well worth the wait. Cooked to order, hey takes time. This burger was overflowing with flavours and textures. Impossible to eat neatly with our hands I went for it anyways and made a mess. Which is a part of the experience when eating this type of food. Wonderful indeed.

This iconic old school burger joint might just make best burgers in the city. Hasn’t changed in 20 years, and the quality still holds up! All their burgers are stellar and prices aren’t ridiculous like other ‘gourmet’ burger spots. The fries are great, but the poutine gravy isn’t my favourite, still decent. Always friendly service, but remember it’s cash only!

Order a cheese burger and onion rings/fries.Food was good. Onion rings were amazing. But unfortunately my Uber driver didn’t have a thermo bag and my food was very cold.I’m absolutely sure the food would have been AMAZING if it was hot.I will have to try and stop by for a visit.

I think Apache reminds me of Johnny's Burger or the Real McCoy (now closed) on the east end of the city. But I would prefer Apache! Fresh ingredients, and made to order. Won't disappoint.Ordered Apache burger, a hamburger, onion rings and poutine.Onion rings were definitely on the thiccc side but cause of the dough. If you like doughy-onion rings, this place is good. Their onion rings remind of the Real McCoy's.Overall, I loved it! I would definitely come back!

It's been years since I last visited. So glad we went there today. Used to go there in the 70's and food is still great today as it was back then. Love their burgers and onion rings. Delish. Brings back good memories from when we used to go eat after dancing at the Mad Mechanic.

Very hospitable staff. Even when they are slammed, which is every day. Such great quality food. My personal staple is Apache burgers with onion rings and large grape drink.

Apache Burgers
Described as a “retro institution for charbroiled eats”, Apache Burger has been owned and operated by the same family for 52 years. That certainly puts Apache in the institution category, and everything about the place screams retro: classic architecture; watching them flame grill your burger; picking out your fav toppings; friendly, fast service, and; super fair prices (single cheeseburger for $7.50 - whaaattt???).Their burgers are outrageously delicious. Freshly flame kissed, juicy patties served on a fluffy but substantial bun (*Rant Alert: we hate burger buns that melt away halfway through the eating!), these bad boys will settle any burger lover’s craving. They’re so good we hop the subway to Etobicoke on the regular to scratch that burger carving itch. They make pretty darn good fries and onion rings as well. One thing to note: they don't accept plastic so be sure you have cash (*there is an ATM on-site if you forget this wee detail).Highly recommended.
