Nice restaurant, with solid beer selection and good quality food. Ambiance was relatively quiet and cozy, food was well prepared, with some items being overcooked.Servers were kind, but beware when ordering drinks for kids (juice, pop) that you have to specify that it is going to be part of a kids meal. Otherwise they charge you an extra $5 per kid drink, and then don't bring you the free one as part of the kids meal. So bizarre. (Note: when we raised it, the server confirmed that this was standard practice and did offer to reverse the four charges if we wanted to wait to have it done).

Nice place, very busy. I would recommend a reservation. Drinks were amazing. Beer but also locally produced gin and vodka options. Must try. Had a shared nachos plate and that was disappointing.

We visited this place after a 10k hike at the Orford National park. At 5:45pm there was a line to get in, however with 4.5* ratings in GOogle, we decided to wait patiently in line. Our initial impression of their customer service was great, with their mini beer glass offer!They brought us to a “new patio section” with a kind of tiki bar. We liked the quietness however felt it lacked a little finesse in the decorations.We ordered two beer sampler packs , and a few food items, the fish n chips, the duck poutine and the fried pickles with spicy mayo. The food was good, maybe lacking a little in the flavour department otherwise we recommend this place, especially if you’re visiting from outside.

This place used to be favourite spot for our family. Been there many times overs the last few years and we always enjoyed good food. Tonight out of 7 dishes, 6 were burgers and the they were awful. The burger patty was dry and felt reheated. The food was served within minutes of it being ordered, way too fast to be cooked from fresh ingredients. Really disappointed.

Best place we went to on our trip to Magog. Beautiful terrace with different levels. We had no reservations and it was late. The hostess was very professional and polite and she said that she wasn't sure if she would have a table available in time but we could wait. Thankfully we did because we had a table within 10 minutes. I can't remember our waitress's name but she was amazing and friendly and the best service we received on our trip. We had the Tartare and the Reuben with fries and coleslaw. All very well presented and tasty. My favorite was the Reuben, a nice twist on a classic. If you like a smooth, easy drinking IPA, go for La Pointe Merry. You can also buy their beer for takeout which we did. The price is very reasonable for what you get here. Check it out. Bravo!

Great place to have a bite to eat in Magog. The beer is refreshing and the appetizers were extremely good. The food was good the only downside is that the burger was a bit dry.

Really liked the restaurant and a 5 star for the duck confit salad. Salad was fresh and an amazing vinaigrette. Duck confit very tasty. The fish and chips were recommended and unfortunately not very good. Fish was dry and overcooked. The first few fries fries were ok but then became hard and tasteless. Might have been refried from an earlier lunch. Tartar sauce and mayo were very good. Must mention that we were there for a very late lunch that could excuse the mediocre fish and chips. I will go back especially to order the duck confit. Too cold for us for the outdoor patio but it looks like an amazing spot in better weather.
