Seahawk Farm

Our Vet recommended Seahawk Farm kennels for our somewhat timid Mini-Schnauzer, Sadie. I must say, their recommendation has been spot on. Jen and her dog boarding heaven have been and are absolutely wonderful.Jen is a professional, yet warm and caring person who really knows her stuff and what dogs are made of (so to speak). Sadie is definitely a happy camper each time we go and therefore so are we. We highly recommend Jen and Seahawk Farm for the well being of your 'best friend'.

We have used Jen at Seahawk to keep our Two Australian shepherds for us while we’ve traveled twice now-a few days last summer and this past 10 days. The care they get from Jen is excellent and the photos she shared with us as well as our dogs’ happy reactions seeing Jen coming back the second time show that they enjoyed their stays. (Our dogs are extremely expressive and it’s easy to read their emotions). We like her diligence in ensuring all animals she boards are properly up to date with their vaccinations too.The space the dogs stay in is really generous, being former horse stalls. In the times she takes them out for play and exercise, she uses her large grass paddock with balls and other stimulating accessories.If you happen to see her instagram page, our dogs are a black and white, and a black tricoloured Aussie Shepherds and one photo of the Black and white running towards her is the best photo ever taken of her! (And she hates having her photo taken).Highly recommended. (Seahawk is not too far from our cottage, but this time we brought them from Ottawa 1 1/2 hours away…that should help explain how much we appreciate Jen’s care of Rio and Onyx)

When you drive up to the kennel it’s all quiet. There’s no barking. That’s the sound of a group of well exercised, relaxed dogs, all feeling secure. Jen posts great photos on instagram. It’s always good to see our dog having such fun! Jen is dedicated and organized and clearly loves the animals. We’ve been very happy having her take care of our dog!

We feel so lucky to have Seahawk Farm nearby. Our dog, Sully is a high energy boy who needs room to run. The daily sessions in the big outdoor spaces and opportunities to play with other dogs were wonderful. We loved the regular posts and pictures. We feel Seahawk Farm provided top notch care to see our dog.

Jen is wonderful! The dogs are safe, well exercised and she takes great care in introducing new dogs for playtime. My dogs visit every week while I’m at work and have stayed while I was on vacation. I would highly recommend her kennel.

We can’t say enough good things about the excellent care Jen has provided our 2 Australian Shepherds with over the last few years. On their recent visit one of our dogs required extra care due to an injury and despite a full house Jen managed to leash walk China 4 times a day and she was in perfect condition when we returned. For us the ultimate proof of the positive environment is how eager our dogs are to greet Jen and how quiet and content all the dogs are when we arrive for pickup or drop off.

I couldn't be more positive about Jen and Seahawk Farm. Our 10-month-old Lab-mix puppy did a try-out day visit, followed by a four-night stay in September 2022. When we dropped her off for her kennel stay, she jumped out of the car and trotted directly to Jen -- a great sign that she was happy to be there. And when we picked her up after her boarding, she was happy, relaxed, and settled back into our routine at home -- again a great sign that the kennel experience had been easy and positive for her. The kennel and farm facilities are wonderful, with spacious runs for the dogs and great outside space for running and playing. It's clear that the dogs get lots of outside time, exercise, and attention, since the kennel environment is quiet and calm, even with multiple dogs in residence. And Jen is terrific in responding to questions and sending pictures. We will definitely board our pup at Seahawk again!

We love Jen at Seahawk farm! We have taken our two dogs here repeatedly. We haven't had to leave our dogs with anyone else before but Jen has made this process easy. We chose her farm because the dogs get outside often and are able to run around. When we pick the dogs up they are so happy and you can tell they have a special bond with Jen. She even posts pictures and videos on her instagram so you can watch & check-in on your dogs while you are away. She is responsive and reliable. We will continue to bring our dogs here! Highly recommend.

Our 2 Vizslas, Duck and Goose, have stayed a several times at Seahawk and loved it! It was a pleasure to meet Jen- she is extremely consciousness, knowledgeable and clearly loves dogs. It was great that she took the time to play with our two boys including the smaller one who is a ball-playing fiend. If you know Vizslas, you’ll know that they are energetic and very sensitive -so given how relaxed they were on the way home I suspect they had an excellent time, likely didn’t miss us a bit, and can’t wait to go back!
