I am so glad I went back to school to become a PSW. The teacher was so very helpful and made sure we were prepared for all tests and practicum. I completed my placement and was hired on at that facility. Mary and Lucy were very helpful with getting me to the place of my choice. Going back to school was scary but life changing and I couldn't be happier.

I registered at Anderson college to study Business Accounting.Payroll. Really, it's a wonderful college and all the teachers have a great experience. And they are very helpful with us. I will finish my course and continue with them with a new course.

Attending Anderson College was the best decision I ever made! I recently graduated from the Business Accounting and Payroll program, and shortly after graduating I already started receiving job offers. I had attended the University of Windsor in the past but hadn't graduated, and I took some time off to reflect on what I really wanted to do and what I was passionate about. Being out of school for quite some time it can be hard to get back into the swing of things, but all of the staff made the application process very easy and made the transition very smooth and unstressful. While attending, all of the teachers and staff were always available to help me with anything I needed and were there to answer any questions. They also understand that alot of the students have part time jobs or families or other things going on, and made it easy to work around so that I could focus on my education but also handle things going on in my day to day life. The teachers and staff treated me with the utmost respect and understanding and genuinely cared about my progress and future endeavors. I felt like I truly mattered and wasn't treated like I was just a number to them. The classrooms were small and interactive and I felt like it was easier to ask questions and get more involved. We also had the option to attend classes online which made things easier especially when dealing with lack of transportation options. I would highly recommend Anderson College to anyone who wishes to further their education and make themselves a more valuable candidate when applying for future job positions. In today's world, and in my experience, I have learned that education is not only an asset but is a necessity if you wish to climb the ladder and obtain a good job that ensure a sustainable future. Good luck to all!

Anderson College has been the best experience, it is a very warm and welcoming college to all ages and cultural diversities. The staff are very polite and helpful, the teachers are highly trained in their fields and their unique teaching approaches gave me the confidence to apply myself and succeed in my career. I have learned so much not only about my CYC with Addictions Support Worker program, but about myself. This program has expanded my knowledge in mental health, trauma, addictions, child development, family dynamics, and so much more! I have gained the confidence to apply my skills in a professional work environment. Anderson college has helped me enhance my knowledge in my career and use it in my personal life. I would highly recommend anyone waning to go to school in health, business or technology to enroll in Anderson College.

I really enjoyed my experience with Anderson College Windsor Campus. I was lucky enough to be part of the Personal Support Worker Challenge Fund which allowed me to receive my education at no cost and my placement that I’m currently in is paid. This experience has allowed me to advance my career without taking a pay loss throughout the process. My teacher, Lucy Balkwill, is amazing at what she does and actually cares about the success of her students. She would push us to do our best and ensured that we all had the tools we needed to succeed. The entire staff at Anderson Windsor is supportive and I’m so happy to have taken this opportunity. I only have a little less than half of my placement to go until completion of the program, but I already know I am going to love being a PSW. Thank you Anderson!

My personal experience after going through the Child and Youth Care with Addiction Support Worker program at Anderson college was life changing in a positive way. Going into this program I was very optimistic as I loved the idea of working with children and youth, but I was also intrigued by the addiction support work portion of the program; I had no clear idea of which career I wanted to go into and felt this program could lead me in the right direction to figuring this out, and surely enough it did. I had recently moved to the Windsor-Essex area 3 months prior to signing up and joining the program, so at the time I had no friends in the area, with just family, and we were in quarantine because of coronavirus so I was all alone in a sense. I am grateful I got to form bonds and friendships with my classmates over the course of this program, and had the opportunity to experience very hands-on learning. I found it helped that our instructor was able to keep me on track and guide me in the right direction when I was having trouble and this was tremendously important in my learning. Though it was a challenge at times having to do school online and having virtual classes, everyone in the school including students and staff tried their best to be supportive towards each other; and we had an outstanding teacher to support us every step of the way. Not only did I learn useful knowledge to use daily and help me improve my career in this field, but I also made lifelong friendships as well as the skill of networking within my community, and discovered a career which I would have never considered if it weren’t for this college.

I began my journey with Anderson College in September of 2022 and honestly it has been quite the experience. From the amazing staff at the school to the entire curriculum, I can say I have grown not only academically, but as a person. I am in the PSW program and currently in the finaly weeks of my placement and it has just been so overwhelmingly amazing. I couldn't have done any of this without my amazing teacher Mrs. Balkwill, she was such a pleasure to all of us students and to learn from someone who has had many years in this line of work was great. I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to become the woman I am becoming and I wish all my fellow classmates and future students the best in all their endeavours.

This college support team is amazing. I worked with the financial team and I had a wonderful worker Andrew which explained everything throughly and made my process so easy and smooth getting me set up. Another advisor Samantha also aided and help me with communication and making meetings. I’ve never experienced such involved and loving academically relationships that really cared for your personal growth.
