Probably one of the best Vietnamese spot in Montreal! Not only the food is amazing but the service is always at its best. It’s a must when you are around the plateau. I promise you it’s always “sunny” in the restaurant!

The location is great, the pain baguette is fresh. The price is pretty standard (7.5$+tx).The content of the banh mi was not bad, but very light and poor : not a lot of veggies. We had 1 piece of coriandre in each sandwich whereas we asked extra coriandre (a mistake i guess)

The banh mi were freshly made as soon as you order. It was tasty and very crunchy. The menu, which include their pho and grilled meat on rice, is reasonably priced overall. The staff was friendly.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The food is very affordable, yet, delicious. Super friendly owner who is happy to chat and very hard working. The dumplings are excellent and so is their iced bubble coffee!! On a hot day, it's divine!! You can sit outside on a sunny day or inside and watch the lively neighbourhood from the windowsill. We will miss this place a lot. Thank you for making our holiday special madame, vous êtes merveilleuse !

Friendly staff and fast service. I order the Pho soup and the broth is not authentic at all. More taste like water and beef cube. The noodle was hard. The portion was good and big. Don’t think I will come back again.

Best meal I’ve had so far in my short stay here. I had the grilled chicken, vermicelli plate. Well seasoned, super tender chicken, delicious salad and dressing, the veggie rolls were a little more crispy then I wanted but idc it hit the spot. Also friendly service with English written menu choices.

All the dishes at Soleil de Saigon are fantastic! The veggies are fresh, the meat is flavorful, and service is top notch. You can beat their pho, or empirical rolls, and the rice dishes are so flavorful. They also have unique bao that you don’t usually find outside of Vietnam. Top off your meal with a Vietnamese iced coffee to make a perfect meal. Don’t forget to grab a banh mi to go!!

Picked up a couple of veggie imperial roll banh mis and veggie bun bo (without the beef) hue. Both were sooooo full of flavour, and probs were ample. The service from the family who ran this place were so warm and friendly. I have another veggie (no roll) banh mi to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. This will be a regular joint when I make my way to the Plateau again...please keep it afloat, locals!

I felt like having a Banh mi, decided to try this place out. Very friendly staff. I ordered the grilled beef one. Came to about 11$ tax and tip in. The taste was spot on but the filling was not there. Very little beef and ingredients inside. You would need 2 to fill you up. I also checked out the prices of their sauces and produce, and it was a 100% mark up of their competitors downtown. Its a good place for amateurs of viet food, but better bang for your buck elsewhere.
