Fantastic experience in store and on the phone with Emily. Excellent customer service and genuine pleasantness. There was an error on the receipt, when I called back from out of town, Emily handled it with ease and care. You don’t see this kind of excellent customer service as much. I will make the 45 minute drive again!Thank you Emily. I hope Yankee Candle knows what an excellent employee you are. I appreciate everything you did today.

I left my 4 little votive candles hanging on the restroom door at the Pen Centre. Two days later I get a call from the store to say someone found them and turned them and returned them to the store. Because my receipt was inside they were able to contact me to tell me the good news. They were so nice and accommodating…4 little votives! Shout out to the honest person Kim ( who I think works at the Bay) and the Yankee candle store for contacting me.

Went to this store on the advice of a friend, but was extremely disappointed with the poor service & attitude of their customer service representative. Be advised that you are not welcome to smell their scented products before purchasing!!! Perhaps a larger store is necessary as staff neglect to follow social distancing guidelines.

I was in on Thursday July 4th, had the most amazing customer service from Emily and was very happy with my purchase because of her. Excellent attitude and very knowledgeable in her work. She showed me how to get a personalized label on my candle and told me about the special offers they were having. Emily has won me over as a customer. Keep up the great work!

I had an extremely poor experience at this location. I have never had such bad customer service. The bad thing was that it was from the manager of the store. All the other staff and employees were extremely helpful and kind. The manager was rude, crude and full of attitude. She was way to sassy for someone working in retail... Let alone a manager position. She raised her voice at myself and in front of my child. She spoke down to me and spoke down on her employees capabilities. Furthermore, she refused to help me when I asked for contact information to speak to someone about her behaviour. Honestly will neve got back to that store.

Amazing staff. Brittany, Sandra and Emily made my shopping experience great. They took the time to complete a task that was proven to be a challenge due to the network available at the Pen Centre. They went over and beyond to make sure the task was completed, utilizing all available resources. The task was very important and special to me, thus, I am very impressed with the level of professionalism and incredible customer service provided. Thank you team Yankee Candles. I have been a customer there since the store first open. I will always remember my great experience and I would always come back.

Unfortunate that I’ve come on here to see other reviews regarding the store manager, but something needs to change. I’ve been in here a few times now and have overheard the manager providing coaching and criticism to other staff members in front of customers. The manager was cashing me out and she answered a personal cell phone, put it on the counter, and left the call going then proceeded to ask for phone number/email. This was very strange. Overall, do not coach staff in front of customers regarding petty things. The staff are actually doing a great job on their own.

Bought some items and had a horrible customer experience that involved a staff member shoving at least 5 candles under my nose and following me around after I repeatedly expressed that I was browsing and would let them know if I needed anything.Came back to return items and my information (that they forced me to give or no return) was used to sign me up for their rewards program. I now get 3-4 emails a week asking me to confirm registration and there's no way to unsubscribe.Every time I get one of those emails my hate for Yankee Candle grows a little deeper. Manager was rude during the return. Not interested in your excuses that smiles and tone are hard to gauge with a mask on (seen in previous review responses). I haven't had a horrible customer service experience like this anywhere else.
