It's not only about the dance, it's about the joy of dancing, embrace, communication, musicality, etiquette, creativity in the most natural way. From beginner to advanced, every lesson makes you want to go back for more, which is what we've been doing for the last eight years.

My dance journey is an unusual one. My husband bought a beginner lesson for us to this studio 5 years ago and figured we could just try it and see as neither of us are dancers. I've been an athlete most of life (very different mindset to tango dancing). It has been one of the funnest and most enjoyable journeys! Even through COVID we did virtual classes with Linda to prep for our upcoming wedding (which we did a tango for) and through it all we have kept up with the classes. The studio is very welcoming, the people are wonderful and of course the instructors are patient (very patient) and I cannot recommend them enough. Don't be intimidated to start, the programming is designed to ease you in and the next thing you know, you'll be addicted.

This is the best tango school in Toronto! Most of my tango friends started here and they are forever addicted :) Elizabeth is an amazing passionate teacher at the roots of tango in Toronto. You learn about everything here, about the moves, the music and the heart. It was like psychotherapy for me, when I started taking classes at Rhythm & Motion. There was absolutely nothing but tango in my head - pure joy of hours away from everyday reality. Thank you my teachers! :)

I love Rhythm & Motion dance studio!!! This is where I first started dancing Argentine Tango and I will never forget that magical experience. I am so thankful for all my teachers there, whose expertise, passion and willingness to teach and joy when they see their students progress goes above and beyond! The best Argentine Tango studio studio in town in my opinion. Classes are structured to make sure you layer knowledge and difficulty in the way its the easiest to absorb and move from very basics to advanced. If you want to review particular theory, you know exactly which class to attend instead of collecting bits and pieces together chaotically here and there to create a structured picture of the element.
