We love pastor Ken. He is approachable, sincere, knowledgeable and always makes us laugh. Everyone at the Olive Branch has been a blessing in our lives.

From Club Friction to Olive buds that grow …This church truly has an unusual story… it used to be a strip club until 2005. Just Google “Club Friction” to verify what I found. Now every Sunday the Olive Branch Community Church hosts two services for contemporary worshipers of all ages and of multi-cultural background. I went to the second service. The Kid’s Branch was energetic and organized. Pastor Ken's sermon was very practical and relevant to everyone who wants to seek relevance of Jesus in our everyday life. The people seemed to be approachable and genuine. From its web site, this church works with other local churches to restore people’s lives at many different levels. The church itself also tithe back to its local community. I thank God that this church has a unique ability to reach out to and to accommodate people who seek and who were hurt. Amen.

Just beautiful, Pastor ken brings the word of God home! he relates it to our every day lives. I'm Always blessed.

The Olive Branch Community Church purchased the former strip club called Friction here at 175 Anderson Ave. in Markham, near Highway 48 and 16th Ave.The church was formed by members who had formerly been connected with the Unionville Alliance Church. Pastor Ken Davis, left and people followed him to put together something new.I have never been to this church, but it truly has an unusual story. I was quite surprised that it used to be a strip club until 2005.

Great community church

I go to hear Pastor Ken. I feel so light when I leave. If he wasn't the Pastor there I wouldn't go.

Very friendly crowd, more casual modern worship and service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a church to attend in the neighborhood!
