The Hair Lounge

Looking for a new hair salon/ hairdresser. Wanted to try this place out, but I guess they are not looking for any new business as I called the number and left a voicemail plus left a message on messenger with no response to either after 3 days. Oh well.

Big thank you to molly! My balayage was exactly what I wanted and I’m still getting compliments on it weeks later. It was my first appointment with her and she was very good at achieving the exact ashy look that I wanted with my dark brown hair. Will definitely be back :)

Great salon. All of the stylists seem to do an amazing job. They have an Instagram page that shows their work so you can get a good idea of what they do. I used to drive 1+ hour to get my hair done there before moving closer.

Stacey, my hairdresser, is so talented and friendly. She really knows her craft.

I highly recommend Molly. She is so friendly and knowledgable when it comes to dealing with digferent types of hair. I always look forward to sitting in her chair. I love how easy it is to hold a conversation with her and when I'm unsure as to what I exactly want to do with my hair she somehow pulls off exactly what I didn't know I wanted. I always get so many complements on my hair and it always looks and feels so much healthier. I can't praise Molly enough for her work.

Never again stylist name is Mandy !went in very excited to do my roots and highlights and I was there from 9:30 till 1:45 walked out with orange brassy highlights and the roots didn't even colourd went back at 7:30 just to cover at least the roots and my scalp was on fire the way she combThe hair very aggarasive makes my scalp burning to the sky !!! I tried to be nice thinking after fixing but sadly ITS WORST my hair now is damaged scalp is in pain and paid $300...never again and would not recommend to any one .

Went in with blonde hair wanting blonde balayage and paid $200 for icky olive green hair with no haircut or olaplex. It took over an hour for the stylist to ”mix the color” which translated to her sitting down on her phone texting for an hour. I was in the salon for 7 hour total, a first in my life especially since I was in the same blonde shade range. I get that things happen, hair isn't easy. Minus the bad and overpriced color the defining factor was the attitude that the manager had when I asked her how she would like to fix the situation. She made clear her stylist was from Toronto and she thought I was lying about my hair. Never got back to me when she said she would so I stopped by the salon so she could see it in person and politely asked to book an appointment to fix it. She gave me a dirty look and told me to leave, leaving a snappy message a few days later. This for me is the main reason I'll never visit this salon again and choose instead Pop, cabellos or pretty much anywhere else.
