As a immigrant is Canada, I learned English with this place. I'm so grateful that Canada provide people places like ISS for newcomers. I personally have an amazing experience with my teacher. Shehnaz is an amazing patience women who taught us so much about this beautiful country. Personally since classes switched online she tried her best to teach her students as much as possible.

My mother Azar, has been going to ISS classes since 2 years ago Thankfully, Shehnaz has been her teacher since day one. My mother had depression and Shehnaz helped her to learn and be better plus teaching English. Since covid started ISS switched classes to online she was super patience with teaching her students how to use computers. She never stopped trying. My mother couldn't even say How are you?" In the beginning

First of all, this is my first review on Google, so I don't enjoy it but it just had to be done.this low rating is solely based on the performance of two receptionists at Linc department. I went there to register my wife into Linc classes two times in a period of a month. both times ladies behind the desk were unhelpful and just rude. First time I thought it was just a language barrier or just a bad day, but after the second time it seemed like something was very wrong.Some people on reviews applauded their Linc teachers. I can not have opinion on that because It is so hard to get pass their first line of defense.And a word to ISS.How did you interview these two? in what language? what was the questions? what was the job description?If you were looking for someone completely incapable of human interaction, unemphatic and unwilling to help, I believe you nailed it.

Very very poor customer service. I went there to get some information for my family a few months ago and the lady (i believe she was from ghana or Jamaica originally)was working in the reception was very rude and unprofessional.i haven’t seen any one like her impolite that’s why after passing a few months decided to give her a review. I’m not the only one that i have a complain about her also my friends have complain as well.She should not working in that place especially people who visit there are newcomers and not good for the first impression to Canada and taking classes and going back to school.Because of her treatments my sisters didn’t want to take English classes.Very very disappointed.

I personally had an amazing with this location. I and my wife had classes with Shehnaz Rahman and she really helped us to learn about Canada. She is an amazing teacher and I really appreciate her hard work. She really helped students during covid to stay connected and learn. She works very hard. Thank ypu Shehnaz.

First, I am surprised that three recent reviews are all put at the same time, all by first time reviewers and all of them are complaining about the same person. This pattern reduces the value of reviews and how much we can trust the review.Then, my experience with ISS of BC is limited to my parents LINC classes. My Dad goes to Mrs. Rahman’s class and he never complained about the professional behavior of the teacher. I know some people may expect a higher quality service and I understand how difficult it is to be a newcomer and try to communicate without enough language skills, but I would call Shehnaz Rahman as a hard-working and respectful teacher.I agree with other reviewers about the front desk and general issues in communicating with newcomers in that office, but considering the whole suffering we had in the recent years caused by the pandemic, I would not count these flaws towards a zero star!I would like to thank you all for all the efforts and I would always expect to see a momentum towards a higher quality service.Be kind, be safe!

Thanks to My amazing teacher i am able to speak english now plus I feel much better about this beautiful country. My teacher has been very patient with me since day one and she is the reason that i am gong to my English classes. Shehnaz has taught me and my classmates the best behaviorsin Canada and she has been working very hard during Covid to teach us about computers and English. I will always give this strong women 5 Star....

My first experience learning English in Link class was with Shehnaz Rahman. I have seen many teachers, but I can say with confidence that none of them are as responsible and patient as Shehnaz . I learned a lot from her , she is really amazing and conscientious and I wanted to thank her here.

I had really good experience with this center of WorkBC. Ms.Maneli as my case manager helped me a lot in preparing my professional resume, and learning strategies to find a job which finally helped me to secure a job. She is really responsible and dedicated to her job. Moreover, Ms.Sepideh was so warm and helpful too.I appreciate their help and service.
