Smitty's Family Restaurant
I eat here often, sometimes twice a week for breakfast. Have also had dinner twice. We just moved to Chatham a couple months ago and it's nice to have a 'usual' place with a 'usual' breakfast. I love the server I almost always have. Bobbie Jo is amazing. She remembers my order now and we chat and get along famously. She really cares about her customers and is a wonderful server. Love this place and hope to keep going for many years.

Smity's is a great place to eat breakfast, brunch, lunch or supper with a wide variety of menu items! Staff is alwsys courteous & helpful. Not the cheapest place to eat casually.

We had a group of over 20 people in the Pine Room. They served us a delicious brunch of scrambled eggs, French toast, syrup, sausage, bacon, home fries, and fruit. As well as coffee and orange juice. I'm sure there was more too! Thanks for the delightful wake-me-up meal!

Pretty pricey for only decent food. Pretty sure I paid $6 for a little cup of bad coffee. Didn't appreciate being seated in front of the kitchen door when 80% of the tables were open.

The food is good and the service is as well, but their prices are way too high. I had a bacon sandwich at $13, and my two kids had a regular style breakfast at around $18 each. Two coffees and one chocolate milk and the meal for three of us came to $83 after taxes and tip. I won’t be coming back at those prices anytime soon.

It's a laid back environment that you expect for close friends and family. The food was great, and the staff bent over backwards to make sure that our needs were met. The atmosphere is casual, though thanks to inflation it seems to cost a bit more than it used to, that is not exactly their fault.

Probably a good breakfast place but don't get the crepes. There are some nice pictures of them here but that's not what mine looked like and they were the only reason I chose this restaurant.Stick with easy breakfast staples and I'm sure you'd be happy and wouldn't have paid $25 for chewy crepes drowning in a fruit syrup with a handful of withered strawberries, and a coffee.Servers were really nice and friendly.

Smitty's Family Restaurant
This was a family favorite restaurant when I lived in Alberta in the 70's/80's. What a great way bring back some fond memories going in getting a plate of pancakes for dinner once again like the 5 year old I am at heart. My meal was great and everyone else was happy with theirs as well. Received great service with a smile. Next time I am in Chatham we plan to go back
