A very friendly and welcoming Romanian church and community. Church painted with love and dedication by Father Cornel, gives you the true meaning of dedication to its members and Faith. Not to forget his beautiful wife Ligia, for all the cooking , love, and help that offers to all . Thank you for everything you do.

Nice and friendly Romanian community, very welcoming. Church has traditional Romanian orthodox feeling with painted ceilings. Playground for kids, little stage for events and a barbecue area on the weekend..

I like this place

God works trough people and it shure does here. I have seen so many acts of kindness and received so many words of wisdom from father Corneliu. He is an example in every aspect.My kids loved everything for the first time we visited the church.The community we've met here is our big family, now.The church is getting mach more beautiful with every painting that father Corneliu is finishing and with every effort and contribution from people who pray here. Everyone is making great efforts to maintain and flourish this heavenly garden.The prayers and the service gets better with every person praying and singing here.God bless!

Very nice community with a great Sunday school for children and youths, almost weekly get together for lunch in the dining room and a really soul lifting service offered by the priest and cantors.

Wonderful place of worship with an incredible Romanian community

This is one of the most unique Romanian orthodox Church that I have had the privilege to attend Father Cornelius who insist that his service be done in English so others can join in and partake of the service is a great benefit to him as an outreach to his community. This little church with its handmade icon ceiling does a lot of Outreach in the Whalley community by donating their time in feeding the homeless. They truly have a missionary spirit. Feel free to go and ask father Cornelius to explain all the wonderful works of iconography that is hung or painted on the walls and ceilings. It is exquisite craftsmanship obviously a Godly gift this man has been given. A Little Piece of Heaven that sits on Harvey Street.
