You feel warmly greeted, you feel exactly as if you were at home. No matter what background religión or opiniones you have. It a general sense of come as you are". Fr. Nicolaie is the world easier person to talk to. He is always there to listen

Good meals and mostly good people. As of today I found out they served tuna which results in the senseless slaughter of dolfins. Shame on the powers that be. Real fuc...g compassionate. Also one of your priest needs to stop trying to intimate people.

I have been to the mission on a number of occasions. Each visit i was warmly greeted, invited into a meal or worship service or an event. There is always laughter, great food, friendly people who are engaging and of course the beauty of the art that surrounds the walls and the chapel leads one into a sense of being in the presence of God. The staff have always been helpful, gentle and encouraging. It is a safe place , filled with hope and I have always encountered Christ when i visit!

Everyone is so kind and generous. The volunteer staff has been very helpful and instrumental to keep this feeding the homeless program running. Their hearts and compassion for those in need are immeasurable. It’s truly inspiring to hear everyone’s story and life matters.

Providing care and compassion for to the marginalized and homeless in downtown Toronto for 30+ years. The Mission runs many programs (as early as 500am) with the hands of many volunteers and staff! It is a great (and fulfilling) place in the city to volunteer your time and make a difference in your life and the lives of people that use it's services. Staff are dedicated, kind, considerate and serve and create community with no prejudice.

The only warning to this place is that you would not want to leave. This place is a must visit. It does not matter what background, religion or opinions you have. The first time you enter the door, the staff, volunteers and anyone who’s part of the community will make you feel exactly as if it were at home.If you are hungry they have 5 stars restaurants meals at no cost.If you need someone to listen to you without judgement they have the right staff to do so. They also have counselling services and other programs. If you have just arrived to the country or feel isolated and need a community they will try to help you with all they can.If you just need a place to learn and develop new skills then this is the place. If I were to describe this place in one word I would say Heaven. All is full of love and good energies. Don’t forget to visit.

I was introduced to this place when Covid hit. They have been literally a God's send. A variety of people from all walks of life. Even the vast volunteers are the same. They not only feed you , clothe you if needed, find you housing as well, but give great support. They do have prayers and you are more than welcome to join but if not, they accept that. They care about people not what religion, faith or non faith they have. Recently I asked Father Nicolaie to give my Mom her last rites. He dropped everything he was scheduled for, to do the ceremony. It was beautiful and my Mom peacefully passed away the next day. I will never forget that. He is an amazing Priest! Also Brother Luke is a character and a half. Great sense of humor but also has a great ear for hearing your troubles! Fantastic place, do visit, go in even for just a coffee, it is always welcoming.
