Absolute worst school a single parent could send her children to. Staff bullies students and families.

Good teachers. Principal kicks kids outside 15 min into the lunch hour before they finish their lunch. Not right.

They suspended me in my 9th year and wouldn't tell me why. Claimed my friend and I did the same thing but they got 1 day and I got 2. Bullying also got brushed off and teachers make you cry.

Teachers are rude, childish, inconsiderate, and often put me or my friends down. I was bullied and when the person denied it, it was practically brushed off. Students often got in trouble for small situations that didn't make sense.

one of the teachers at the school has called multiple girls out for showing the littlest bit of skin when is absolutely no dress code.the male students in my class will take photos of me which makes me feel very uncomfortable.but other than that the school is pretty good the teachers are good and the vice principal and principle are very strict about no bullying and will not tolerate it.

i was only here for like 4 days (bc i got sick and transfered to online) but ill say this the 4 days i was there were wonderful, im transgender (ftn) and they changed my name in the system and used my pronouns instantly. also theres a nonbinary rest room thats just a singular rest room so that good too. i liked how we got to go outside, thought i didnt have any friends to enjoy it with, i wish we got lockers tho but i understand why. the only bad part of being there was one of the teachers (the science one that looks like @thatveganteacher) misgendered me. i am going to go to this school next year so i hope my expirence as good/better although these reviews sound like its going to be not very good

I attended this school during the 1989/1990 school year for my grade 9.The first 2 weeks were fine but after that things got very bad very quickly.I was (for the first time in my life) relentlessly bullied. On an almost daily basis other students threatened me, threw things at me, and physically pushed me into lockers.Once a student physically attacked me in drama class while the teacher stood and watched. Another time another student attempted to drop a garbage can on me from the roof top (I had to face him in court over the event). There was no support, to avoid the bullying I started skipping school - to only get penalized by the un-empathetic principle. The students seemed violent always talking about provoking fights with the neighbouring school. One of my classmates was punched in the face without any warning what so ever.In gym class, we were taking up wrestling, I accidentally broke my partners arm , and since he too was not all that popular - students came up to me congratulating me! (It was sickening)A few years later I approached the school to do with the bullying I encountered and the school told me,our school does not have a bullying problem." (Dishonest staff - unwilling to do what's right).I know it's 2016 but the truth needs to be told. This school emotionally scarred me."

Absolutely awful school. I would rate it no stars if I could. My eldest child attended this school for ninth grade this year. He was treated extremely badly by staff, students, and office members and wasn't the only one. The principal was the main problem, constantly harassing, following, and criticizing my child. at one point him and his best friend were pulled into a secluded empty classroom by the principal, to be told they were not to be seen walking together and hanging out, outside of their classroom, when they are in the same class and only ever felt comfortable and safe with one another due to the relentless bullying from fellow classmates as well as staff. This conversation only took place because they were always around each other due to those comfort reasons. There were a few decent teachers my child and others were genuinely comfortable around and who they felt they could come to. I won't name names due to what I am about to say but even these specific teachers agreed that the principal and vp were in the wrong in most cases and never had the students best interests in mind. I have a younger daughter who will sadly be attending this school because all the others nearby are full.I sadly wasn't aware of the conditions and situations taking place at this school before it was too late. I now have to wait until next year to enroll her elsewhere. I'm saying all this in hopes that you won't make the same mistake as I did with sending your child to this school, and wishing with all my might that the environment of this school changes ASAP.It isn't just the staff, the other students bully one another to the extent of SEVENTH GRADERS bring MACE and KNIVES to school for their own protection. The bullying experienced here is much worse than the general bullying presented at any school. I hope reading this gives some fellow parents insight on how inconclusive, unfair, and unsafe this school has been.0/10 definitely do NOT recommend.

i hate this pI have been having a ruff year all together. on-top of that, i'm in a school that I constantly feel uncomfortable, and lonely at. I act out at school and get myself in trouble, but I always feel as if the staff there don't listen to my story or what I have too say. They only focus on the consequences, instead of noticing that I have been going through a ruff time, and trying to actually talk to me, and help me.As for the students, bullying is a common thing happening in my classroom. I PERSONALLY notice that the teachers don't really pay much attention to it. In my grade its sadly common for people to treat each other badly, and its normal for teachers not to react. But thankfully, the office staff (principle, vice principle) handle bullying situations very seriously. When I was getting cyber-bullied by a few kids and told the principle about it, the kids got suspended and the issue was dealt with. You can see how the school tries to handle situations as best they can, but sometimes I see kids getting given unnecessary consequences. Like making other students and I, sit in the office for long periods of time (hours), instead of talking to us and helping us work through their mistake. I've had to sit in the office for up to 4 hours, for small incidents that had happened, as I PERSONALLY (this is opinion based) felt as if it was an extreme consequence. The teachers are okay. Of course, There are some that are childish and ignorant sometimes, and some that are really nice. I personally don't have an issue with the teachers, and feel that the learning here is really good. I always feel like i'm being challenged enough, and listened to if I ever needed help with school work. We also get to do fun projects (to an extent because of covid), but I genuinely really love learning here. The environment is very bad. As I already said, some of the kids in my class treat others badly and it gets unnoticed. I had some issues with students and don't have a lot of friends. So school can feel pretty lonely.Overall, its not the best experience here. I've personally had some awful experiences here, but it depends on the person and the students around them. The staff is alright, and the teachers are nice. I just didn't have a great time here. I wish the Vp and principal were more understanding and considerate at times.lace
