Beautiful spot, friendly staff. The beets and syrup were the highlights. Some items were missing salt or they were simple (like boiled potatoes).

Service was very friendly and attentive, and everything was set up for us for our big group of 12 when we arrived! Very accommodating for the vegetarians and gluten-free eaters of our group, and it was all traditional cabane a sucre food. Bring your own wine was an added bonus as well. Had a great day and will be returning! Delicious tarte au sucre as well. Might not be the best choice for families with many kids as there isn't anything else to do other than the meal and the tire outside.

Nice, cosy sugar shack for families and small group. The food is great but may lack a bit of salt.. which might be better for you in a way. It's not a very commercial" shack

This review aims the vegetarian and vegan population but also families. I am glad this sugar shack offers a vegetarian menu, this is a big step thowards an acceptance and comprehension of alternative lifestyles. This kind of possibility opens up to a futuristic sustainability and is amazing for any business to adopt even a slight part of this reality because it attracts a large variety of clientele and believe it or not the word passes quickly especially within small and growing communities such as in a vegan one. Overall, they have been able to provide us with good service. The staff were nice and understanding.I would like to point out a few improvements that could and should be made. We were eating with our non vegan friends who paid the exact same price but were offered a much wider variety of foods even thought their website cited otherwise. We were really satisfied with the quality of food served, there was vegan croton, sausage and ham" that were delicious and their pea soup

Its not real maple syrup on the table and when dessert came the sugar pie was white. Leads me to believe they dont concentrate the sap enough to get the syrup we are use to seeing. Only place i saw the real stuff was in the snow for the sticks at the end.

We were a large group, about 20. It was a work function. the drive up was relatively quick, so I would assume that it's close to the city.. the tables where set, and the staff were ready for our arrival. They were warm, and helpful. We were served bread and butter to start. Then we had soup.. yum! Then the meal.. also yum. Then desert, tart or pudding. We had a great time.. oh, and the maple syrup was delicious.

The choice of desserts was remarkable, the egg souffle was delicious, attention given to homemade ingredients and very clean facilities. We chose this Cabane because it was the only one open on a Wednesday evening with a vegetarian option and had the place almost to ourselves. Service was efficient and courteous but not very friendly. Vegetarian food was ordinary but ok according to the vegetarians in our group. Although I get that people reserve and don't show up it's still questionable that you can only reserve online (they don't answer the phone), must prepay directly in full and it's non-refundable and they still charge a fee /person on top of it. The fee is abusive. Unless the only day everyone is available is a week day when other cabanes are closed, I wouldn't go back.
