Canadian Flight Centre

Made a difficult decision to switch flight schools today. After careful thought over safety, online reviews, personal experience, I am moving on. I am not going to risk safety for the sake of a few bucks. I've read many poor reviews of my current school. My instructor is inpatient, and be-littles me at times, which I will not tolerate. I find them more concerned about the almighty dollar than making good pilots. I wish them the best. Advice to future pilots, carefully research your school before committing. Anyhow...on to newer and better things.

Specially for international students. The school only wanna to take money from you. If you have any trouble with them. Call The cops on them, also against them in court or report to Private Training Institutions Branch what are good Ways to get your money back.

Did my commercial license here a while ago, and worked part time. Happy with both. They accommodated my schedule. Great selection of planes.

I did my first 6 flights and half of the ground school for ppl at CFC in Kamloops in 2015, and honestly I don't recommend this school at all.1- They didn't explain the prices to me2- I didn't feel welcomed3- The school is empty most of the time ( no people to interact with)4- The Instructor took me to 6000ft to practice turns (with no weather problem)Now I'm working on my CPL and I know why I was flying at 6000 ft to practice turns!

Many old planes not taken care of well enough.Some instructors who are international with minimal experience and suitability to instructing. Creates a semi-dangerous environment with the low standards. My instructor was okay, but was given more work and duties than one person could handle.Management cares about profit before quality of training. Good luck getting required documents if wishing to train elsewhere (After several months, many requests later, I called Transport Canada and inquired, then contacted CFC- this was the motivation needed as I got my PTR soon after). The owner and CFI are detached and uncaring. International students are often taken advantage of. Locked into a contract that has left many with the short end of the stick". Flying in the Kamloops area is nice though."

I have been training with CFC for over a year, now I have my own plane.Still am using their flight instructors for additional training.I have to say that I have always had an awesome experience with all of the instructors and management of this school. Currently training with Reza who I have to praise for his professionalism and safety. He is also very enjoyable to fly with. Thank you!

Your groundschool course is incomplete and has big gaps missing in the lectures rendering it impossible to understand. This course is a complete waste of money and I encourage anyone to research a groundschool course that has more integrity.

I recently completed my commercial pilots license here with Reza, he did a great job making sure I was completely prepared for the flight test while avoiding any extra unnecessary flights. Reza was almost always available and adjusted his schedule to make sure myself and the other students could train whenever needed. I highly recommend training with Reza, if you put in the effort you’ll be very happy training here.

Great training for international students, got lots of support throughout my training from the school and our great community of students. I love that there's an opportunity to stay and work in Canada after graduation, definitely a great path. Views are spectacular! Good planes, sometimes tight to book, but ok if you plan ahead. Very grateful to the school for the opportunities they gave me.

I’ve had nothing but a good experience while training with the Canadian flight centre. Reza is one of the best instructors I have had. He is very knowledgeable and is always prepared for every flight I have with him. I have had many instructor while going through my flight training. Reza is the only instructor I’ve had who truly cares about his students, he always does his best to make sure you get the most out of your training. I would recommend to anyone who wants to become a pilot to go see Reza at Canadian flight centre in Kamloops.
