Total Pet

I stopped going to Total Pet in Vernon due to one of the employees that works there. I've given it multiple chances hoping it was just an off day with the employee but her mood never changes each time I visit. I believe her name is Sydney. She has Pink hair and Glasses. She has been super rude and short with me multiple times. I've seen her treat her coworkers in this same cold manner she treats the customers.I feel uncomfortable walking into that location now and feel she needs some some serious retraining on how to be respectful to coworkers and customers. I will no longer be bringing my business to Total Pet. I'd rather detour and go to Bosleys instead.

i stood there for 20 minutes at the same tank making eye contact with the workers from time to time, while they laughed and joked around probably 3 feet away. finally someone else comes over to help me, (i purchased a striped snail) because they were cheaper there than AJs, (a much better pet store), and it died within a few hours. mind you, my tank is thriving and it was not the water. the lady at the counter when i was paying was also very rude. i work in customer service and i know dealing with some people can be tough so i understand, but i personally did nothing and think it was uncalled for.

Just moved to Vernon area and this location was close by. The staff was helpful and very welcoming and made sure that I was able to get what I needed and share in lovely pet conversation.Reptile selection is great and worm cricket supply seems to be on the ball.Thanks for your lovely customer service, and I'll be seeing your team regularly.

Great customer service. They carry one brand that my cat likes. Tiki cat. Saves a trip to Kelowna. You guys rock.Edit: I just wanted to add how well the customer service is there. They are very knowledgeable in cat litter which I do not know much about.They are always friendly from the moment I walk in to check out, even though I'm usually in my pj's. They don't get annoyed when I decide to splurge a bit as they check me out.Even small talking and connecting with customers; one of my favorite things. Their customer service is always above and beyond and for that I will keep coming back.

It's a half and half here. Sometimes you go in and service is excellent and other times they don't care. During a visit last week I had a couple things in my hands with no prices and when I asked the employee she said she didn't know, and made no attempt to look or even move towards the till for that matter. I asked if she was going to find out for me and she still made no attempt to help or look, preferring to visit with her friends instead. I did find a person who helped me find everything I needed and even offered me a coupon book to go towards my purchase. I spent $400 on that visit.

These guys had ADORABLE kittens adoption! My dog was superrrr interested in them :) This pet has amazing staff & possibly the best bird food selection as well as toys/supplies for dogs.

I’m sorry but pet stores should not be selling cats when there are thousands that need to be rescued. Not to mention birds , it is unbelievably cruel to ship these poor animals and keep them in cramped living conditions- birds are meant to fly .

The staff are friendly and helpful. They introduce themselves to your pet as you go into the store. Staff doesn't follow you and ask every minute if you need help, they let you look first. The prices are fair and within walking distance. I changed to a new food because my dog is having weight issues and a knowledgeable staff member took time to help me find other food and talk with me in detail without up selling items.
