If you share a passion for fly fishing this is a store for you. Having a local store in Montreal area that's extra specialized in fly fishing is a key. As soon as you walk in the store, you will immediately feel that you have entered in the real fly fishing store.On the main Floor you have a chance to see all of the fly fishing gear; waders, jackets, bags, wading boots and all of the other gadgets. Fly rods are already assembled and you can actually touch them. There's an impressive collection of hand tied flies from some of the local tiers. The shop has all the fly lines and reels for all of the fishing locations. From local waters in Quebec area to all of the way to salt water specialized gear.But, if you are the a fly tyer, your spot is in the basement. That's where you will find one of the biggest fly tying spots ! Make sure you come prepared with a list of stuff you need, otherwise you will buy everything. There's always a fly tying vice there. Their staff member has already showed me some tips on how to tie some specialized materials ! Now, that's special !They also have a great website for online ordering. Their customer service is very good as they work closely with vendor manufacturers. They will work hard to honor those warranties.On your next trip to Montreal, give them a visit !Fish ON !

If you are looking for a helpful and knowledgeable staff this is not the shop for you. Staff has a very bad attitude towards the clients. If you are looking for a specialty item that they do not have they will not hesitate to lie through their teeth about how it does not exist or how they sold out when clearly it is not true. They will even make condescending remarks if you point out that their wrong. Even if you are a regular client They will follow you around suspisciously untill the point you feel uncomfortable. The older staff only know about salmon and a little about dry fly fishing and their younger staff pretend they know it all even though they have very little knowledge about fishing. So if you are an adept or passionate angler this is really not the shop for you. Montreal desperately needs another fly shop.

Inexisting service. NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!!Still waiting on my 700$ order. One person told me that my order was shipped, another said no, a third one, it was partially shipped ... after that, they provide me with tracking numbers and ... those numbers weren't tracking number but internal numbers ...in another email, an employee called me by someone else name ... but I was the recipient ... it wasn't a recipient error ...Never never again !!!

Very good fly fishing store. Very knowledgable staff and professional. They also have a whole floor dedicated to fly tying gear which makes their store very special.

Went in while traveling through Canada. Was met at the door with a question about language and if I was an American. Once I said yes and English an employee came up with a “new policy” that all personal items need to be kept behind the counter while looking around the store, instantly suggesting that a foreign traveler is a theft risk. I guess he didn’t care that I was an avid fisherman willing to spend money at his store and was more comfortable inappropriately stereotyping. I immediately turned around and left. Regardless of intent, the customer service and communication was rude and abrasive. Store won’t last long if it treats its customers so poorly.

I am really sorry that this isnt in French. But during a recent visit to Quebec for the first time, I was looking for a fly fishing rod (ended up with 2), some lines and flies. I was really impressed with the range of gear on show and that the staff were happy to order in what wasnt in stock. I dont know about the rest of Canada, but in my experience, here in the UK, we NEVER get any ladies wading boots, yet here was a store brimming with them. And down in the basement, full of fly tying materials, I was like a kid in a sweet shop". We all know that as far as fly fishing is concerned
