Dealing with the entire Deacon team has been a great experience from start to finish. Jim, Gail and James were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We are thrilled with the high quality flooring and the fair and reasonable cost. Installation by Eric and Gus was beyond awesome, their efforts to make the job perfect was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Jim and his team for your flooring needs.

Another great job by Deacon Flooring - hardwood, carpeting and tile.Special thanks to Chico who assisted us in getting some great deals onin stock tile and carpet. Paul and Sherri once again did all of the installationand were wonderful. Paul is a superior craftsman and they are such hard workers. Job was done on time and looks great. We have been 100%satisfied with Deacon Flooring and highly recommend them.

We just had our new carpet installed today. Right from Simon our contact person to Matt and his team of installers everything was great. Matt and his team were courteous and polite and worked well together to give us a wonderful finished projuct. They put all our furniture back in place plus other things I had moved. Great job. Will definitely never go any other place for my carpet needs.

Deacon flooring was recommended to me, so I reached out on their website to get some details. James was my first point of contact and he suggested we meet at the store to go over some samples. He set a date and time and when I arrived he was a no show. He was called and spoke to staff but not once did I receive an apology from him for not showing. Dan stepped in and directed me in a more reasonable direction based on my needs. James had originally sent me to a very expensive product to view online despite me stating what I was looking for. I took a sample home, liked it and then let Dan know. I was told I would be still working with James and this is where the disappointment continued. Zero communication or follow up for several days, despite me reaching out. I reached back out to Dan who then came and measured. Poor guy was constantly apologizing for James and his unprofessionalism. But then again I waited. I finally emailed Jim (owner) after still not hearing anything. I assumed the owner would at least reach out, respond or apologize, but no. Yet again, Dan was told to contact me. At this point I am told there are supply issues with the floor I chose so I would need to pick another flooring. This should have been checked before showing a customer the sample/having them take it home! Then I’m told my quote, no breakdown, nothing on paper, just a text of $5000 plus HST. I was shocked, I don’t know any business that just throws a number at a customer without a breakdown. I’ve never experienced such awful customer service at the hands of business owners.I decided to go elsewhere to other recommended flooring companies and the one I chose measured same day, quote with 24hrs WITH a breakdown at just over half the cost of Deacon with the same type of flooring!!!Shop around, you will get more reasonable pricing for the same product elsewhere AND better customer service. I went to 3 places and they all followed up and communicated in reasonable time frames and were just as “busy” as Deacon.

The whole experience from first contacting Dan Duffy and the Deacon Flooring team about an estimate to the finished job was great! The whole process took less than 3 weeks and in the end the carpeting looks and feels tremendous and totally exceeded our expectations. Deacon were professional, efficient, and even cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. For any of our future flooring needs it will be Deacon for sure. They have earned customers for life. The installation of a new wide plank oak floor in our kitchen and family room was done perfectly and in one day ! Steven, the head installer dealt with a couple of requests we had expertly and finished the transitions to existing flooring seamlessly.

I am impressed with the overall experience and results- literally from the moment I reached out to Dan to the moment I paid the final bill. He provided me with the perfect samples and gave suggestions on how to keep the costs down. The installers were amazing- the day the job was supposed to start I decided to add replacement of the subfloor to the plans- even with that addition to the job, it was completed that week. You can tell by the way they install that they are experienced and know their product. I highly recommend using Dan and Deacon Flooring for your next project. Thanks again guys!

We contacted Deacons and their salesman, Dan Duffy, came out promptly and gave us information regarding an installation and measured our space.Dan sent out his Best installer Eric and his assistant Gus. Dan said Eric was the best at his job ,and that was truly the case. A special thanks to Eric and Gus for their hard work. Eric has a keen eye for detail and when the job was finished it looked perfect.We had a small unforeseen delay but Eric and Gus went above and beyond to finish the install. It was wonderful working with Eric because he was easy to talk to and ask questions and he made us feel part of the process. We thank Jim,Dan , Eric, Gus and staff at Deacons Flooring .

After a dishwasher leak destroyed our kitchen floors I went and saw the team at Deacon. Jim was amazing helping us pick out exactly what we needed and his install team was above professional and took every opportunity to go above and beyond. They will be my flooring people from now on!
