Sunshine Hills Elementary
This school is very very bad, the students are horrible, the teacher and principles are very racist, my children always came home complaining, if your kids are getting bullied the principal and teachers don't care and say “I can't do anything about it”. They always pick the white kids' sides, the coloured people will never be equal in this school in certain situations. Please do not send your kids here ,period. L school in general.

Staff are amazing, lovely school. Both Cougar Canyon & Sunshine Hills are great school, sadly the rivalry will always be a big thing.

I was fortunate enough to do a short practicum here during my PDP at SFU and LOVED this school. Staff are supportive, go the extra mile, and put the students always at the center of learning. The French Immersion program is a huge asset, and the students have a surprisingly high proficiency in French (I was in a french immersion classroom). Amazing experience and I am so thankful to have learned from the teachers here!

My daughter Suri went to Sunshine Hills for a year in grade 1. She had Ms.Tsougrianis (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong). My daughter Suri, learned so much in just one year in that school. She was already reading higher level books, knew so much about almost everything. I’m extremely amazed at the school especially the teachers. My daughter loved going to school everyday because her teacher really made learning fun. We had to move elsewhere unfortunately. I just want to say thank you to suri’s teacher Ms. Tsougrianis, you really teach the children with all your heart. ❤️ Suri still talks about her teacher and how much she loved her class.

im giving sunshine hills a 5 /5 even though its been about 36 years since i was in grade 7 there. Just the thought brings me to tears ,i cant express my sincere gratitude to my teachers mrs.linda caron and mrs.iris scott ,the finest human beings you will find in any walk of life.Also assistant principal mister ken robinson.
