Muse at Wakefield Mill Hotel and Spa
The location is wonderful. They've really transformed the old mill into something unique. The food was well plated and the service was wonderful. Why it isn't 5 stars: they didn't take the opportunity to explain the plating when it was presented after all the effort from the chef. The appetizers and desserts were great, but the mains were more of a 4/5.

Dinning under the stars at the Moulin Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa was such a enchanting experience. The starlight chalets, the strings of lights and the sound of the river made this evening magical.•Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the food. Although beautifully presented, our meals were subpar. Each plate was underwhelming and bland. But, to be fair, the bread was tasty so was the filet and the different jams were delicious.•Although disappointed with the overall culinary aspect of this experience, the company and the charming setting made it worthwhile.

Beautiful experience. The place itself is so cozy and calm . Perfect for date night . We had the view of the waterfall while eating and it was awesome . The food we got was their discovery tasting menu (5 dishes) . Everything was wonderful and unique . I was scared to be full by number 2 but no it was the perfect amount very well balanced . The cockails were good nothing special for me or my partner. Breakfast was simple but delicious. They have an small menu but great choices . Overall a very calm , relaxing and delicious experience.

We invited my family for an intimate pregnancy reveal. The staff were in on it and were extremely helpful and professional. The food was faaaaantastic. Even my picky father and husband enjoyed it. The portions?!?!? You'll have a loooooot on your plate. The complementary pastries, fruit and local cheeses were a cherry on top. Seriously, thank you!!!!

I ate here for breakfast and dinner during my stay at the Wakefield Mill. I found the food always tasty and delicious.The breakfast menu has a number of selections. The Blue Butterfly is pictured in this review. I enjoyed them very much. I also had the Breakfast of Yesteryear which was my preferred choice because I normally prefer eggs for breakfast.The dinner consisted of a three course meal of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. In the picture is the Summer Bounty (appetizer soup), and two main courses From the Butcher's Block and From the Deep.I do recommend you check out the menu beforehand, as the selections may not be for everyone's taste.We had a great experience with all the servers during our stay and they provided outstanding service.

45$ each for brunch. Order avocado toast was completely burned. Nobody came and check on us. Tried to encourage local It’s a nice location but food and service is terrible. Would not recommend

Amazing food. Honestly one of the best fine dining experiences you can have in the National Capital Region!!! Our waiter chose such good wine pairings. Would recommend anyone looking for a special dinner in the area.Merci beaucoup!!
