Miller's Your Independent Grocer Annapolis Royal

This is a great neighbourhood place to shop. Matt Miller and his staff do a great job keeping shelves stocked. It has been stressful for them during the pandemic, but the have been very helpful and made sure we are all fed. Keep up the good work' .

I am no longer happy with this store. On several occasions recently I have been overcharged for items. The first time the cashier was nice enough to help me find which soups were actually on sale. The sale tins were on the bottom shelf and poorly marked.A week later I was overcharged for an item in my order. I went back for a price adjustment. The item was no longer on sale. The price had been changed in the system, but the shelf price had not been changed. The price was adjusted, with an apology. However, I used my gas and time to get the issue resolved. Not acceptable.Just this week I was I purchased an item clearly marked at 50% off. I checked my slip before I left the store, but didn't catch the error. I realized when I got home that I had been charged full price!That's it. Unless it's an emergency, I will no longer be shopping at Miller's Independent.

Nice small town grocery store decent selection with great staff

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Stocked to the point were you can get your staples and then some but I would love to see more produce. There is a definite price difference between here and say the superstore but it is much more convenient.

Very disappointed. In the year 2022 and living in the greatest country Canada But shocking to see still racists exist in this corner of Beautiful Nova Scotia, at the Annapolis Royal Independent Grocer store.I feel so sorry for a couple of small-minded mature ladies working as cashiers ( They never say Hi or Bye, and no smile to some of the customers, Because they are different) who doesn't know Canada is a multi-culture country if you don't like colored people shouldn't have that Job.That's a very poor culture. If you burned in this corner of Canada That's not mean you own this small community.Why you shouldn't treat people like humans with respect regardless of their color or accent or where they come from and who they are? You should be honored, when they shop, they support your community. You should be shammed.It's very disappointing.

Although the store is a bit weathered, there is always a good supply of groceries, the prices are standard, and the staff are exceptional. I can always find what I'm looking for at Independent.

This is our new go to grocery store. More fresh produce, meats and fish. We will be driving the extra km to get our food stuff
