Chilliwack Municipal Airport (YCW)

We went to the 27th Annual Air show and it was an absolute blast!I cannot believe that it's by donation and the runway is packed with spectators.Things to remember to bringSunscreenBig offPicnicChairsSunglassesCameraBinocularsWaterAnd your cheery excited self.Washrooms excellent well positioned.Loved the Happy Panda rides too funGreat to bring familiesSeating anywhere excellent views no matter where you seat.Pretty clean as we were leaving a few pieces of litter but overall the carry in and you take out the same as you brought in was actually applied.I think there should have been absolute quiet and we all should have sang the national anthem.I also think we should have all been silent when the american anthem.The venues were well laid out and the crowds seemed to be having a great time and no hassles and no policing go figure if this was Vancouver we would have a seat team..Nice to see we are able to all behave ourselves. Lol.Easy access plenty of parkingThere is also an transit event bus that can take you from the park and ride.I felt bad for the announcers as you could not hear them. We moved to the east end and were nearest to the speakers. If they had a few more surrounding the strip I think you would get a better response from the spectators.I hope the spectators know how hard a job these volunteers and pilots take to get this organized.More cheering and thank you from the audience should have been louder.

I didn’t get a chance to try the food but this airport is very clean, well maintained and peaceful!

I went here and had some awesome pancakes! It is a great place to just relax have a coffee and do a bit of plane spotting! I love this airport! Awesome place to fly in or just see! you can walk in and just look around!

No wait, friendly staff, great food and great view! Be sure to ask for a window seat, any time of year!

The beautiful airport in the heart of Chilliwack, BC.

The Airport restaurant has friendly staff, good service and a good variety menu.We booked a flight for family and were impressed by the thorough pre flight briefing. On their return they said the pilot was very professional and gave a 10 out of 10

This was our first visit but definitely not our last. Got take out and shared a club with my husband- real turkey, crisp bacon and the fries were delicious.Also got a slice of key lime pie to share for later today. We got a quick taste..... amazing lime flavor!

Longer runway than Langley(everyone has longer runway than Langley)Wanted to get some pies from the restaurant here but they are closed for BC days, there are no parking fees for anyone under 8 hoursIs also pretty cool that the airport is run by the RCMP

Great little airport. Has a wonderful airshow in the summer and now has flights that head into the city and other places to make that trip easier on everyone.
