So I went to India house with my family wife and daughter ( toddler ). We always prefer India house for our food but this time experience was not good. We opted buffet option and after we finished I went counter to pay the bill. Didn't pay attention while paying bill so paid and left the place. My wife said they charged us more for 2 people buffet ~ $48 this time. We drove back to that place again, my wife asked them why they charged us this time so they gave vague answer like we are charging per plate and no transparency or breakdown why charged this much. So , after few minutes I went in and started asking them breakdown for bill and they said bill includes 2 adult and 1 toddler charges ( ~$8 buffet charge for toddler ).? we went there few times in past and they never charged for my toddler but this time they did. So , I asked them about policy or what's the minimum age for toddler for charge. so the lady on the counter mentioned 3.5yrs. strange , they never once asked me what's the age of my toddler and directly included in bill this is very bad customer service ( I should have given 0% tip for this but still went ahead and gave). My toddler is not even 3 yrs so they should have asked me once before charging. This is like SCAM" not sure if they are doing it with other customers as well.Advise

Saskatchewan folks you are in for a treat! If I had a reason to move to Regina, this food would be on the top of my list! I stepped in with zero expectations! We were crossing Regina and were hungry and picked the closest restaurant in our route and that’s one decision we would never regret! The buffet has wide range of Indian food and taste authentically Indian! The food is delicious and since it’s a buffet the portions are huge ofc! I stopped for a lunch buffet. Being a vegetarian most of the times there are limited options for me, luckily that was not the case here! They had a wide variety of vegetarian foods and they had my favourite pakora and pakora tadka in their menu! The rice pudding was perfectly prepared, not too sweet! All the desserts were mouthwatering! I can rave about the food all I need, but it would definitely be worth your while to visit this place if you are in Regina! Love the naanBut the flavor of curry was alright.Love that they have salad and veggies.Dessert was very specificMany different spices.17.75 for lunch buffet.Worth it.So full haha

I've ordered skip from this place couple of times and food was decent, so decided to try their buffet. Went for lunch and the food was decent. They serve naan and tandoori chicken at the table which is great coz it's meant to be eaten hot and fresh. Naan was really good but tandoori chicken lagged flavor.Other buffet items were decent. I was disappointed by the dessert section though. There were 3 options Gajar halwa, suji halwa and rice kheer. All were less than average. And Indian buffet without at least one proper Indian dessert ( Gulab Jamuna, jalebi, rasagulla, any type of mithai) is unheard of.The price was pretty low and that could be a reason. I may come back to check out their dinner buffet just to see the difference in variety of items.

For some restaurants it is quality and for some it is quantity. This restaurant fails in both! I placed an order for Gulab Jamun and they gave 6 literally cherry sized gulab jamuns for almost $6.I would have still considered it OK if they were tasty but to my disappointment the worst I have ever had.

Most of the food were cold. Salad section was looks like not fresh at all . One Indian can test and recognize the quality of food very easily How old that could be. The so called biryani was just simple rice were no test at all. You should keep pakora “Bhajiya” at least fresh. Why would you give a individual order a fresh food and buffet a cold. Next time if I will visit I will take video and publish it. So make sure you make change in quality of your food. You are not only selling food you are representing Indian food culture. If you do not understand the test of food. I recommend at least do something else. I experience the chicken was serving fresh why was you bot serving vegetarian food ? This is shouldn’t be call Indian restaurant, it was not a quality of food. Keeping the plate small so the people has to go and forth to take food and the customer get tired and leave the plate.If customer reading this review and they don't see owner trying to fox the issue that means they don't care about anything else except profit. Strongly recommend try to avoid.

Excellent food. I can confirm the buffet is open at lunch hour at the South Albert location. Provincial health regulations are being followed (masks while moving around, proof of vaccination/recent negative test, etc). They had a lot of delicious and classic Indian cuisine (vegetarian and meat dishes) including the ever popular butter chicken, fresh veggies/salad, as well as a few dessert items. They came by the table several times with naan bread and tandoori chicken, and my water was kept topped up. Everything was really tasty and fresh when we got there around 11:45AM. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I didn't have a hollow leg so I could keep eating! I'll definitely be coming back.Update:Went back again about quarter to 4 on a Saturday. Food was just being put out and it was so delicious. Goat curry was present too! An all time favourite, and it was tasty. Washrooms were clean. Water was room temperature but they brought me a glass with ice upon request. Great food as always. Dinner was just over $22 after taxes, so it's on the pricey side, but it is an Indian buffet at dinner time, so it's to be expected.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at India Palace Restaurant. The food was outstanding! Every dish was cooked to perfection and the spices were so flavorful. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend India Palace Restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing Indian food experience.
