Silver Springs Golf & Country Club

I got married here in the summer and everything about this venue is so beautiful- whether you're a golfer or not.We had our ceremony outdoors on their grassed raised rooftop and it was the perfect back drop and scenery; all you see is greenery and trees!Our reception was inside in the Turret Room which has floor to ceiling windows overlooking more greenery and it is beautiful. Great for pictures as there is nothing but natural light pouring in.Nadine, the venue coordinator, is absolutely wonderful and such a pleasure to work with. She is basically your wedding planner and coordinator and venue contact all in one. She was quick to respond to every and all emails and phone calls and was always very helpful and always had a helpful solution or suggestion. She is professional and reassuring; I simply cannot explain just how amazing she was to work with. Thank you Nadine for all your hard work and time; and for everything you did to make my wedding day amazing.Silver Springs provided SO much beyond what other venues provided; tables, chairs (though I did rent my own to match my colour theme), all table linens, cutlery and plates, center pieces and other decor Nadine has, drink tickets, name plates, string lighting across the room, mic and audio set up both inside and outside, and the list goes on.Their food is delicious and their catering team is completely flexible; we completely customized our menu (we did a pizza and salad bar) and they were accommodating and happy to do whatever we wanted. We- and our guests- still rave about the food. Dessert was amazing too.Highly recommend Silver Springs!

My husband Steven and I absolutely love being members at Silver Springs! The strong sense of community at the club is what stands out to us, in such.a beautiful setting in the city.The staff go above and beyond in getting to know the members by name. They work hard to give us the best experience we can have, whether it's on the course, or in the lounge or dining room to enjoy a delicious meal after a round of golf.If you are a long time golfer or you are new to the game, Silver Springs is a great place to enjoy the summer months in Calgary!

We joined 7 years ago and have enjoyed every year since! We quickly met some great people to golf with and very much enjoy the social aspect as much as the golf. The course is an oasis in the middle of NW Calgary and its very easy to forget you're in the City once you hit the links. Can't wait to get back out there!

We rented the facilities here and the staff and rental room was top notch! I’ve also played golf a few times as a guest and the course has been immaculate! I love the design and the challenges as well. I can’t say enough about the food!! The menu always has numerous choices and everything has been so good. My favs are the prime rib, the salmon sandwich and the desserts! Last but not least, they have a amazing team of people - the office staff, pro shop, restaurant and back shop. I’ve always experienced smiles and excellent service! Way to GO SS team!

Silver Springs is an amazing golf course, with great amenities and services, and perhaps most importantly, a great community of wonderful members and staff. The location is ideal. It is almost inner city, less than 15 minutes from my office downtown. Silver Springs has great kids and intermediate programs; and works for couples even if one is not a golfer. The Pro Shop team does a great job introducing new members to existing members, getting new members started in men’s and ladies’ nights, mixed match play events and more. And while it is a “private” golf club, with all the benefits and many conveniences, it is a very welcoming club with a friendly membership. And I had my first hole-in-one (ever) on #17 at Silver Springs in 2022....so you know it's a great course :) Highly recommended!

The pro staff as Silver Springs Golf Club have never been better for the business ladies league! Amy & Katy, with head pro Randy in support, have brought next level organizational skills, communication and professionalism to provide a fabulous experience for golfers of all skill levels. They are a perfect fit for our culture of inclusion and provide exceptional customer service. Amazing team!

Great place for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious, and the drinks are very good. Great for small kids as well. Located in the community of Varsity Estates has a fantastic golf course.

It will soon be ten years since we joined Silver Springs and it’s been one of the best decisions we ever made. The course itself is a challenge for any golfer and is always well taken care of but that is probably the last thing we think about at Silver Springs. The members are very welcoming to new faces and encourage participation in the many fun tournaments throughout the year. We have met many couples that have become good friends over the years and look forward to seeing them each spring. In addition to that the staff at all levels are very helpful and really do make an effort to make Silver Springs a place you want to be at. Our kids grew up at the course and were involved with the junior program for years.We plan to be at Silver Springs for many years to come and feel fortunate to be part of such an active, inclusive and fun community.

Silver Springs has been my favourite golf club for years. I am continually impressed by both the skill and thoughtfulness of the incredible pro-staff and support team under Randy Hunter, head professional. The course is beautiful and well looked after, and the food in the clubhouse is delicious. (They have mastered the art of pizza; our family will no longer settle for pizza anywhere else!)
