Everything good with the equipment and the staff. But they keep mailing me a bill with a balance that I already paid. All of a sudden I received a collection letter and I did the transfer to them about 2 months ago. Still I'm getting letter that I still owe them that balance. Not nice, they should have more control on this situations.

Just got off the phone with a member of the staff who was so very helpful. We will definitely use them again. Very courteous as well. Thank you very much United Rentals in Kingston!

Absolutely terrible service. Their staff/employees are unhelpful, rude and are forced me to go elsewhere to purchase a tool that I was dead-set on buying from them. Unfortunately, this is not likely to change so you are actually better off researching/ordering product online or going to a big box store.

Our firm has been dealing with United Rentals (previously Darlington Rentals) for over 20 years. In the fall of 2020 we required an aerial lift to complete a roof repair. We were informed that one would be delivered directly from another job. When the equipment was delivered to us, it was found unsafe for use and our crew could not and would not use it. The safety rail was broken, the horn was broken, and there was virtually no hydraulic fluid. We requested that it be picked up immediately. Not only were we down man hours with a crew of 3 sent to the site, we received an invoice for just over $1600.00. We have contested the charge, however United Rentals continues to press the collection. We have since terminated our long term relationship with them and will be notifying the Ministry of Labor. We are extremely appalled by their lack of consideration of safety of workers.

Terrible customer service. Very dishonest. I will never return. These guys do not care about the store. The bearded one raised his voice on me. They gave me the wrong drill and did not admit mistake. They told me the drill is covered by insurance and made me pay for it when I returned it.

I just needed a lawn mower for the weekend. Great and efficient customer service, competitive price and the perfect mower for my needs. I have rented and purchased from United Rentals on Development drive over the years and always got exactly what i needed with excellent service. I will be back again and again.

Forgot my wallet when returning my rental and I can't believe how rude the customer rep was. No understanding at all. My only options, despite having returned the item, was to rent it for another day or have my outstanding $19.49 go to collections and never be able to rent from them again. Suffice to say I won't be renting from them again.

I use United Rentals more than any other rental company. Their service is always good and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They always have what we need or are willing to go the extra mile to help us out

I shop at United for all my parts and sometimes they have to order things in but the gentleman in parts is always kind and well mannered.

Absolutely horrible experience. I was promised a certain size machine, and even called to ensure and confirm I was getting a certain size, and then was given a smaller one. Had a worker booked for a week and could not send it back. Float guy told me they had the size in the yard that I had asked for and told I was getting. Called to inquire. Paul and the others right up to management were extremely rude, dismissive, and spoke down to me. They told me they tracked the machine for a week and said I used the machine. The size given to me was not big enough to do everything I had to do and so could not use it for the allotted eight hours that we had planned. It was a very expensive investment, and the staff were cocky, arrogant, and dishonest. Will never go to this place again. Do NOT trust this company. They have zero understanding of customer service and are very, very rude.
