Super informative and friendly staff! The place is very well laid out and I was thrilled to see a bunch of fresh and robust looking herbs and vegetables as well as their usual stock of lovely flowers. Totally recommend them. I got this cool plant last year in t h e i r for sale Section, it is a special plant that can survive forest fires and it's called the Diablo something. I call her princess Diablo . It was just a couple of sticks and some leaves when I bought it and look at it this year such a beautiful healthy plant and I think I paid only $10 for it so just love this store.

Very cute little nursery, a bit of everything it seems. If you live in Vancouver and do not want to go a long ways for some pretty flowers, then this is very ideal. If you are looking for more specific items, then you might want to call them first to inquire. Free parking.

Went to Hunters Garden to pick up garlic bulbs specific to grow this year. Called in advance and was picked up by the customer service. Asked the customer service to reserve the bulbs and they were able to tell me what was available and were able to save for me to come pick up. Very friendly discussion.The location has it's own parking lot, limited space. There is also street parking. I imagine that during the lunch hours the whitespot next door can make their access a bit cloggy.The entrance to the store is guided buy arrows on the ground creating a one direction flow, which is pretty standard with other places following the COVID guidelines. There are only 5 customers allowed in the store , and there is the outdoors setup. The cashier also has a glass shield for protection.The staff was extremely helpful in providing assistance with any questions related to gardening. Was asking about the varieties of garlic that they had. Not too many stores have this many varietals. They were also helpful with other gardening related questions and provided consultation. Asked about lemon tree plant maintenance and the staff were happy to provide help.I would definitely go back for this type of help. It is a smaller store, so there may be limitations in certain stock or items, but I would definitely go back or atleast call and check if they have things and then go.

The store have variety of plants and local tree saplings. I bought my pre-bonsai trees from them. They have friendly and accommodating staff. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Very kind staff. Beautiful assortment for indoors and out as well as specialty plants.

Lots of healthy outdoor plants but the indoor plants are kept in dark area and some aren't doing too well. Up close you could tell a lot of the leaves on small plants were crispy and plants were leaning and some had pests. Prices are pretty reasonable though. They have a couple rare tropical plants and most of the regular selections too.

I love the staff here, never to busy to share their opinions and experiences, even by phone. Where else can you find such services? Certainly at no other garden centre in the Lower Mainland. I do wish, however, that they still had their rebate program for individuals.
