Piatto Vecchio Restaurant
Piatto Vecchio has reopened with a new owner/chef who has reinvented the restaurant in the most positive/delicious way. The menu is new and is absolutely superb. The staff has achieved a balance of being very professional and very friendly. Chris (the chef/owner) has not only reinvigorated the restaurant. The passion with which he prepares his food can be tasted in every bite. Do yourself a favour and check out Piatto Vecchio Ristorante. Once you sample the cuisine I have no doubt you will be back for more.

My absolute go to restaurant. Food is great! ambience awesome, Staff is wonderful I have also thrown 2 parties there and would happily book many more. Dom knows how to treat his guests and besides that Jean Carlo makes a wicked cosmos :) Thanks for always making us feel so at home

Awesome food! Home made pasta the way they make it in Italy! The finest of ingredients !I’ll definitely go back!Had my daughters wedding shower there. It was spectacular. We hosted 80 people!!!

We were greeted right away as we entered the resto. The food was amazing, everyone we were with enjoyed it. It’s nice to know all pasta is freshly made in house. The staff and atmosphere was awesome. Will recommend to all my friends and family for sure.

Great food, great presentation, amazing service. They got us in for a last minute booking at 9pm on Saturday and made it no trouble at all. The bar is comfortable and the God Father" is amazing. I love how you can see them use the fresh pasta that they hang daily.P.s had to stop my Girlfriend from stealing the cutlery"

The food was ok, the best thing about it was the bread. We asked the waiter to wrap up our leftovers. On his way to the kitchen we heard him drop some dishes. Then he came back with our take out container and the bill and failed to tell us he dropped the risotto on the floor or apologize for doing so, or offer to replace and still charged us full price. Their risotto is $24 ... Not cheap. We called the restaurant and they did nothing about it. This is bad form. Lots of better options around. Overpriced, tasteless food and terrible service. Don't waste your money.

Nice place, not too expensive.We have tried the calamari with shrimps, risotto and the tenderloins. They were all pretty good

Fantastic food, the staff is extremely friendly and professional and the restaurant looks AMAZING after all of the new renovations. If anyone in the GTA is looking for a night of fine dining, but relaxation at the same time - look no further. Highly recommend!
