Today - Jan 08, 2022. Parking lot only available for visiting adjacent businesses. No beach parking. Large sign would indicate this is a permanent arrangement

This is the hidden gem and hot tip parking spot for East Beach. First off, this is Semihamoo Nation territory, so there are fewer restrictions and monitoring. The parking fee is a flat $7 versus hourly outside of their territory.They hired Genesis to collect parking fees, which must be cashless. There's plenty of parking spots when we used it, and the flat rate allowed us to enjoy the beach and, afterward, walk the pier nearby. I didn't have to worry about parking expiration or how much it would cost me to stay longer.
