Your KW Host

I wanted to organize a surprise walking tour for my dad's birthday. I didn't really have an idea of where to go, but reached out to Angela through the Your KW Host website. We had a follow-up phone chat that narrowed down some things my dad might like to see. As an avid gardener, we decided Rockway Gardens would be a great place for him. As I'm fairly new to the city, I had no idea this place existed!The day of the tour arrived and Angela met us at the Garden House with a birthday balloon for my dad. She also organized to have one of the master gardeners, Bruce, show us around and answer any and all questions which was lovely.The tour itself was meant to be 2 hours according to the invoice, but actually only lasted about an hour. I would be interested to experience a tour that had Angela sharing more of her knowledge of the city/area as well.Overall a fairly positive experience and my dad was chuffed to learn more about the Kitchener Horticultural Society from Bruce.

A great way to experience KW!

Angela offers a great mix of fun and information. I booked a tour for a friend who was coming to visit. I wanted to show her all that KW had to offer. Angela tailored the experience to our interests. We visited museums, shops and got excellent recommendations for dinner. This is going to be my go to activity for out of town guest. Angela brings KW to life.

John and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Waterloo/Kitchener with Angela as our guide. Being new to the area we were eager to learn more about all the special places to visit and activities to enjoy. Angela's urban tour introduced us to new neighbourhoods, parks, restaurants, and galleries, that will keep us busy and entertained for years to come.
