Wellington Child Care Centre

My kids attended Wellington Day Care and I feel very lucky to have found such an amazing, warm, caring place for my little ones to grow and develop. The staff is like family and on the mornings when soup or muffins are being cooked, it smells amazing.

Wonderful team of educators in a super central location! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is welcoming and warm. Perfect place to send your children and know they are engaged in meaningful play and being cared for by highly qualified staff. The menu is healthy, fresh, and mouthwatering. Always envious of the delicious and nutritious meals my kids get to eat here! I truly believe this is the best childcare option in Ottawa.

My son went to a home school daycare and although she was a very nice lady he was falling behind. As soon as he came to Wellington he became more talkative and outgoing he made friends and his learning development improved! They even assisted in getting him potty trained he spent 2 years there and they where always accommodating. He graduated in 2014 but I will never forget how helpful they where. Thank you everyone at Wellington Child Care I will never forget the amazing job you guys did!

Wellington is a wonderful daycare that made such a positive difference in my child's life. The teachers were phenomenal, the environment always positive, the food healthy, the kids from all different backgrounds. My son was there from 11 months to almost 4 years and we miss every minute of it. If you are looking for quality care for your child, send them to Wellington.

Wendy, Lorie, Debbie, Helen, Sheri and all the rest are very wonderful people. They are very very very nice. This place was my sons first actual daycare center. My son was very well taken care of. He doesnt smell like poo when i pick him up in the afternoon. They really care about him and always keeps us updated of his development. I love how they have a board where it says stuff like what he ate or how long he slept and how many times he poops. The place is in downtown but the traffic in the street and parking is not bad i didnt had a problem getting there and finding parking. If only my work is close to this place id still have my son in there. Me and my wife would recommend this place if you work in downtown area or just is looking for a daycare.

This is a wonderful childcare centre in downtown Ottawa. The educators work so hard to create a loving and safe environment for little ones to learn and grow. I'm so happy my daughter gets to spend her days in this space.

My experience at Wellington Ward Child Care Centre was Amazing i loved the staff and they were always very nice. My son Lochlan which they refer to him as (The Boy with the HAIR) lol loved the place to sometimes he would cry cause he didnt wanna leave. I miss this daycare so so so much. It was 100000000% better than the one that he is in now. I would reccomend this daycare to anyone in Ottawa and if i ever go back i hope that he can get back into that one. My child and I loved this child care center. It's a parent co-op with the board having 6 parent and 4 staff representatives. They put the money into quality care. There is low staff turnover. Staff are well-trained and love the kids. Staff have sick leave so they don't come into work sick and infect everybody. The kids get vegetarian home-cooked meals and a very rich and varied program of activities. My child looked forward to going there each morning, and I could trust that my child would be well looked after..

I feel so grateful to all the staff. My kid has been attending this daycare for a year now and I would not trade this place for any other. All the educators are great professionals, caring, focused and of multiple backgrounds. English and French spoken. In this place there is an atmosphere of family and trust. The head of the daycare is tremendously capable, experienced and understanding. My kid has developmental challenges and in this daycare they make sure all therapy programs available are following closely. My little one always storms inside the playroom every morning as he has so much fun here.

Hand cooked food, vegan which my grandson has learned to love. One of his new words malafel yum . He likes playing and misses it when he cant go. Friendly thoughtful staff.
