Calgary Lighting Products

For years when I worked for a company that had an account at Calgary Lighting the service was great. I stopped this morning to buy a large expensive bulb. I do not have an account and he refused to serve me because he said it’s too much work for a single sale. Covid must not have hurt this company that they can refuse service !

Our condo corp chose CLP to retrofit our buildings. They were very eager for our business and eager to get going on it. But as soon as they got our deposit back in August 2020, they seem to have all but disappeared. Five months later and we've still got nothing! The project hasn't even started!After repeated requests for follow up and requests for some sort of response and timeline update from CLP, they will only say the product is on order." On order since August? C'mon!We have asked CLP for proof of our money going toward our order

Extremely poor customer service. Placed an order for a case of lightbulbs in September 2021. They said it would be about 10-14 business days for the order to come in. Contacted them in November as I hadn't heard anything, and they said there are back orders due to Covid. It's now April and not a single bit of communication on their end regarding my order.

In my experience, i have found that they employ very knowledgeable and personable staff who strive to create an enjoyable buying experience. I had a very horrible experience with this company, we dealt with Ali from sales, we had purchased too many of a regular stocked item, he had agreed to return the product and provide a full refund. We dropped the product off, but they wouldn't provide a refund, we have been following up week after week for six months now, we keep getting the same answer let me look into that and get back to you" still no response after six months.I notice from the other reviews; other customers are having similar issues. I would not make any additional purchases with this company and am in the process of registering a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Great company to do business with. We have worked with Calgary Lighting Products for five years and look forward to more business with them. Calgary Lighting was very eager to retrofit our condo building with new LED lighting. Their sales team was very persistent, and sold us on the project in the summer of 2020. We paid them our deposit and they said we will get going on this right away". Here we are now 7 months later and no work has been done. Lots of excuses that they have no stock due to lights coming from China and Covid. Did they not know this when we gave them our money and they promised to start the project right away? They've promised several times to keep us updated

I have been using CLP for a few years now and have found them to be very easy to work with. They supply my janitorial business with a vast variety of lighting solutions so that I can keep my clients happy. If it's not in stock right now, they'll have it for me very soon! Definitely recommend Calgary Lighting Products to any business looking to solve their lighting issues.
