Prices are a high, but nice to see underdogs stepping up to play in our monopolized tech sector.Customer service could benefit from being more understanding and less blaming. The worst experience dealing with various individuals who do nothing but push the blame onto the customer and take 0 accountability. Staff are misleading and do not know accurate information or fail to provide valuable information.Also it helps if the drop off box is large enough for ALL modems. Attempted to return mine to have the slot just slightly bigger then the items... defeats the purpose, no? I was told by 2 staff that this box was not vianets yet its in front of their door.....

I gave 4 stars because I WAS with Vianet for a long time. Never had an issue with customer service or tech support. Always had a pleasant experience calling them. However there speeds for the price is too high. I was on the highest and best pkg. 60MBPS for $90. A different provider has a deal right now for 3GBPS for $100.

Internet down Thursday.not out fault. Service person in building on new hook somewhere. Now we have no phone or net. Have to wait till Tuesday. Why we didn't do anything.

I don’t usually do this type pf thing but I have done all that I can at my end. My family and I have been VIANET subscribers for over 15 years. We took VIANET with us when we moved from Blind River to the North Bay area. I have recommended your company to neighbours and friends alike. However, we have had the same hardware in our home now for over a decade. We have had Spectrum Technicians at our home who have told us that our equipment is scheduled to be replaced. That was 8 months ago. All of our neighbours have been upgraded, even the ones that I recommended your company to long after we had the current equipment installed. Here we sit with old equipment, dropped service and on line assistance who keep having me buy new routers, or upgrade the speed at additional cost. We have done our part bought new routers, upgraded and we continue to have no service for extended periods or time. This wasn’t like this in the beginning it has been for the past 2 years. I am getting tired of the run around and the broken promises. I see new updated VIANET hardware affixed to one of the neighbors I recommended they switch to you, and they have the upgraded equipment!I like buying Canadian, and I am a proud supporter of Canadian business and local business. If we are treated right we are loyal customers, but where is the customer loyalty coming from your company after this many years. “you need a new router Mr. Andrews, you need to pay more for a faster service Mr. Andrews, your equipment is adequate Mr. Andrews…” What would you have me do?I tried to send this email via their website, but I couldn’t get on today again!!! When I did get on the contact form continued to fail, then said I needed to fill in a field that wasn't even on the form! It asked for a street address but there was no field for a street address? Then it would crash again. The little circle kept spinning and spinning, a yellow warning, then a red x, then more spinning. I am getting tired of spinning. I don’t want to switch service providers, but I am being left with no choice and no response from VIANET.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! New dry loop, new modem, new router.... still trying to blame it on an internal issue. Good luck getting a hold of tech support. Vianet blames it on Bell and vice-versa. Paying a lot for a service that doesn't work. They say they try their best but, that is not true. Not happy at all.

I have had a hard time with accessing the live support option. However I've experienced great assistance and haven't had issues with internet other than the odd upgrades where we were out of service. I just recently added home phone, and I've met a few pleasent agents. That were fully able to assist me in my own layman terms lol.

Very nice staff and great customer service. Good prices for internet with a variety of different packages including home phone. They rent you a modem and now available is a great router for Wi-Fi 2.4G & 5.0G and 4 ports for ethernet connection. Also options to go through phone line or a cable line for high-speed internet, I'm not sure about fiber ops? It depends on where you live I think.

We’ve been waiting for connection since Feb 2, 2023… three separate appointments set up.. three separate appointments “no show”. $75 connection fee non refundable for a service we can’t receive. All we get is “I understand your frustration but unfortunately we are at the mercy of a third party company.” Fingers are being pointed all over the place! Worst connection service in the world!! We have moved on. Our money is better spent elsewhere. Beware of their shortcomings.
