My husband and I stayed at 'Aunt Christi's' for a few nights during winter. The home is near a trail where we had a winter picnic by the ocean, inside of a shelter provided on the path. We spotted an owl along the way.The home itself maintained it's appealing signature style while having it's own unique style from the other Salt Box Co home we stayed at previously in Francois.'Aunt Christi's' home was clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and provided incredible views of the ocean, lighthouse and sunrise.The Salt Box Co are always professional, friendly and accommodating.My husband and I will certainly book this home again and we reccomend it to everyone.

Our stay at the Old Salt Box Co was absolutely wonderful! These quaint salt box homes have been restored with immaculate attention to detail and provide anyone renting these a wonderful pied-a-terre for a vacation, be it a quick weekend getaway or a week long stay.The reservation process was fantastic. Communication was excellent and even when the weather got in the way of our original plans, we were contacted early and offered various alternate options.Upon arriving at “Aunt Christi’s” in Greenspond, we where wisped away by breathtaking view that was offered to us through the gigantic living room windows. The house was immaculately clean and offered us all the amenities needed, and beyond. Every detail had been thought of for us. When came time to prepare dinner, we did so in one of the best equipped kitchens I have encountered in a vacation rental. Everything we needed was there, and also of good quality, making cooking a breeze.Our bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept the night away to the sounds of the waves.We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Aunt Christi’s and I would highly recommend renting any house from The Old Salt Box Co. We will be back on our next trip to Nfld.
