Real Canadian Superstore Parkedale Avenue

This is a clean and fairly well priced store. They have a great points program where you get points on what you but and can redeem them on food, or other products when you shop there, and it doesn't take long to make up enough points to get something. The one issue I have with this store is the clothing section has nothing for adults that is in what I consider, style. The kids stuff, adorable, but adult women, get your clothing somewhere else. Besides that the store is clean, well maintained, staff is friendly, and always quick to help.

Watch out for items past best before date.Customer Service Desk is very poorly located and managed. NEW UPDATE. May 14th (yesterday Mothers Day). I always like to check CLEARANCE Fruit and Vegetables since some items are actually at prime ripeness (Mangoes). Well yesterday they put out tubs of Mushrooms that were plastic wrapped. What was strange was the fog appearance on the inside of the wrap. Upon closer inspection, the contents were badly rotted with mold growing on mold!I purposely opened one to get a closer look and the stench was so bad I had to move away immediately! If those were consumed, it would likely result in severe illness! I immediately spoke to a dept Supv who happened to be walking by and she was totally SHOCKED! She immediately called the person responsible for the vegetable section and told them to remove them. Big question is why in the world was it even put out for sale? Reason is POOR management! Another incident also happened later while checking out of the Gated" Self Check out area. An elderly couple leaving trigger the gates to open almost knocking over another person approaching from Full Service Check out!!! This store has gone from bad to worse since the changes! I have been shopping at your store since it opened in Brockville, meaning I have spent and continue to spend a lot of money at your store. I have been self scanning groceries for the past 6-7 years because I could review the cost of the items and question any price difference at the time of scanning. I was away for 2 months and on my return the self scanning had new restrictions of only 25 items limit, as an express check out I was informed by a very kind staff. I was asked to go to a staff to scan my groceries which totaled over $500.00. I expressed to the staff that I usually self scan and was not pleased with the new restrictions. The staff was somewhat rude in stressing that these are the new rules. While I was packing the groceries and the amount was paid, the staff then leaned on her cash with her arms folded, looking at me pack and did not attempt or offer to assist in the packing, while she had no other customers waiting. Only towards the end of my packing did she have another customer. Needless to say I was not impressed. I am considering other grocery stores in the area based on this experience. I have always enjoyed shopping at your store, enjoyed many of the PC items and the points I collect have also been an ongoing incentive to shop at your store, but this past experience is certainly making me reconsider my shopping practice. I did not address it with the staff at the moment because I may not have been as congenial as one would expect from myself. This is the reason I chose to address it with you in writing after a cool off period. Thank you for taking the time to read my concern. Store had abandoned, half full carts all over and was generally untidy. The lady ushering the line was very impatient, telling me to Move

No express lane and self checkout attendant watches you as if you’re going to steal. I hate going to this store now.

Good size store with lots of selection. A little disappointed to see all the hot food closed though. Prices can be expensive, but they have good sales go on quite often. The bakery and deli are very good.

Good place for a lunch with chicken fingers. Good sizes, good prices. Would just like if they had an indoor area to sit as they used to. Large overall store. It's a regular stop for me when travelling. Has some handy and useful mini Xmas gifts. There's also a gas station and bank and other stores around there. One of the bigger Superstores out there.

The are going fully automated with cattle fences at the entrance way and are now expecting us to work for free at self checkout. I shop somewhere else now

I went for bone-in chicken breasts and they had them, which is pretty rare these days. It made me smile. Bone-in is so much better than boneless on the bbq...I don't get why so many like dry boneless skinless!

Staff always helpful and pleasant. Kudos to Cora in the bakery for taking time to root out Focacciarolls for me.Employees like this should be much appreciated.
