Second Cup Café
Location was bright, clean, staff was friendly and drinks were perfectly made! Located under the Kensington eye institute, this is a great place to spend some time while waiting for patients to finish surgery.

Calm and quiet environment. The barista made good suggestions and was knowledgeable about the menu. Lavender Cold Foam Matcha Latte was simply devine. Barista was right in that it does not taste like essential oils

Today, February 17, 2023 at approximately 12:35pm, I decided to order a slice of cake. The cake was $5 and change. My total came up to $7 something, and I noticed the cashier charged me $6 something for the cake. I asked him why he charged me that much instead of the actual marked price and he said the manager didn't change it. The manager who was present refused to honour the price that was marked. I'm disappointment because as I stood there inquiring about the price difference a bystander was getting impatient and told me to stop. I told the person to mind their business and the manager was telling me not to talk to the lady like that. The point is, there is no customer service. There wouldn't be a problem if the price of the cake was honoured as marked. I left feeling like I was the problem, when I was the victim and simply standing up for what's right. Terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.P.s. The cashier gave me a dollar from his tip jar, the manager on the other hand, terrible, didn't even offer a solution.

I received a free medium brewed coffee as Fido offer. The staffs is very nice and hospitable. The coffee smell good although it is a little bit bitter for me. The decoration, the smell of food and coffee give it an intimate ambience. Definitely visit again

Really excellent service and coffee. Both the lady and the man who came later were attentive, friendly, and really helpful. They went out of their way to help, didn’t rush us, and even offered to heat up the item etc.. you don’t get this level of attention or service at a Starbucks. The place is really clean and well designed. The yellow tables and chairs are a welcome touch and also helpful for non customers to pause on their tired ways. It’s a really great location with good people.

Very well made Green mango smoothie. I wish the locations uptown made drinks this way, the way they're meant to be made! Friendly barista and the place is clean with a modern look

Cozy spot by the window gave way for some peace to enjoy the passing views, both from within and without...despite construction on the road!The person serving was quite pleasant, efficient. Had a vanilla bean latte. Hot, balanced and equally tasteful. Atmosphere was without distraction of noise from surrounding conversations making it that much easier to focus and enjoy my time.

Awesome location! Very clean and a good spot to study. The lady and the man working together have an incredible teamwork in keeping up with the busy workflow of the shop. Pastries are expensive but of very good quality to have. I wish they still offered the “perfect medium cup” service as I would love to try their butter pecan again. Kudos
